On Friday I took Maggie to John's house for dinner. She put on that maxi dress from the shoot and applied light makeup. She looked gorgeous.

- Hey! You must be Maggie! I was dying to meet you! You're just as pretty as Josh was saying!

Emily told my girlfriend when she opened the door.

- And you must be Emily! It's nice to meet you too. Thank you for inviting me.

Mag replied and gave Em a kiss on the cheek. We took our shoes off and made our way into the living room. John and Hope were waiting there.

- Hey kids! You look great together.

My dad told us and hugged us both.

- Maggie, this is my little sister.

I said to my girlfriend. She carefully stroked Hope's head and the baby smiled to Mag.

- Aww, she's adorable! She looks a lot like you, John.

Maggie told my dad.

- I hope it's a good thing.

He joked.

- Sure it is.

She replied.

- You look very beautiful today, Maggie.

John told her and smiled.

- Stop flirting with my girlfriend.

I told him.

- Yeah, you're too old for her anyways!

Emily shouted from the kitchen.

- Anthony's 30 years older than Clara and you're not complaining!

John responded.

- No way! That's so fucked up! I thought that Josh being 7 years older is the end of the world.

Maggie said. She appeared to be shocked.

- My fiancee is 10 years younger than me. Believe me, it's nothing unusual. Once you finish school you'll forget there's any age gap between you two.

John replied. Maggie smiled to him and I embraced her with my arm. Then we heard knocking and the front doors swung open. Everyone turned around to see Lilly with Johnny walking next to her.

- Hey, it's me!

She shouted and then saw us.

- Oh, hi Josh, I didn't expect you to be here. But that's actually good, I need you to take care of our son for a few hours.

She said and walked up to me and Maggie.

- Sure, no problem. Lilly, this is my girlfriend Maggie.

I said and the girls shook hands. Mag looked so uncomfortable. But Lilly just smiled to her.

- Oh, so you're the Maggie! Johnny's been repeating your name over and over for the last two weeks. I have to admit, Josh's got a great taste in women, you're gorgeous!

She told Mag. My girl instantly looked happier.

- Thank you!

She replied and blushed. Poor Maggie, she didn't know how to react.

- Be good, baby. Mommy's gonna be back around 9.

Lilly told our son and hugged Emily. They chatted for a minute and then my ex-wife left.
