The next day it was Lilly's birthday. At 7 AM I got up and went to the bakery. I've grabbed a cake and quickly drove back home. Fortunately, she was still asleep. Earlier this week I've bought her a gold necklace. It was elegant and classy. It had 3 little gold hearts attached to it. They were meant to symbolise me, Johnny and our lost daughter.
When she woke up and went downstairs, I surprised her with the cake.

- Happy birthday, baby!

I said, giving her a kiss.

- Oh Josh, I love so much, is that a strawberry cake?

- Yes, it is. Your favourite.

- You're too cute!

She exclaimed sucking on my face.

We ate half of it and after our stomachs were ready to explode, I took the little box out of my pocket.

- Here's one more thing I got for you.

I said, handing her the gift. She opened it and smiled wildly.

- Baby, you didn't have to!

- You deserve all the best. Those hearts stand for me, John and our little girl. We'll always be close to your heart.

I said, grabbing her hand. She was crying.

- I miss my baby. I hope she's an angel now.

- Of course she is. She's proud of you for staying so strong. I love you.

- I love you too.

- Good morning.

She whispered into my ear, waking me up.

I rubbed my eyes and yawned.

- Ugh, wash you teeth, your breath stinks!

Lilly exclaimed, hitting me with a pillow.

- Hey, you think that you smell like roses? Sure, sure!

I responded and we started a pillow fight.

- We need to drive Johnny to your parents!

I managed to say between the hits.

- Right, we have a kid and we still act like kids.

- And I don't wanna change that.

When we came back, it was time to get ready.

Me, John, Flea and Anthony'd rented a house outside of LA. It had 5 bedrooms upstairs, so Emily and Loesha with little Sunny could go to bed early. Chad has decided to stay at his own house. He said that he's too old for those kind of parties. Well, he's just 1 year older than Flea and Tony.

- What are you planning on wearing?

I asked Lilly while we were taking a shower together.

- Oh, it's a surprise. I bought something, I hope you'll like it.

She said, giving me a smirk. I kissed her and pulled her close to me. I grabbed her butt cheeks and squeezed them.

- Josh, do you want me?

She asked me, putting her hand on my chest. The warm water was falling onto our bodies.

- I do, Lilly, a lot.

- I still can't get over the loss of our daughter. I'm physically fine but the wounds in my mind are healing so much slower.

- I understand...
