Even though Jieun was wearing a very obnoxious jacket, it wasn’t enough to completely shield her frail body from the relentless cold. Maybe it was the fact she was wearing a cropped shirt. It was because she liked to be cool during sleep-time. And she wasn’t bothered to change her shirt when she got the text from Soonyoung.

Jieun walked to the park, seeing someone standing by the entrance. It was Soonyoung. She had to stop herself from suddenly freezing in the middle of the path because of how adorable he all of a sudden looked. Her eyes wandered to the hoodie he wore, which reminded her that she needed to give his back sometime, and also made her wonder how many he had stored in his closet. And then, his hair. Jieun couldn’t help but make small noises as she saw the curliness of it. It was magnificent. And also dyed purple now. 

(omg though. Soonyoung with purple hair was so cute I’m sorry, I’m gonna leave now bye-)

Jieun ran over to Soonyoung, who couldn’t help but smirk at her outfit once he glanced up.

“YOUR HAIR. I’m currently dying right now (not a pun) at the colour.” She exclaimed, ruffling it. Soonyoung smiled at her outburst. “But where the hell have you been!? I was so worried because you weren’t answering any of my messages and I almost thought you died at one point or that you didn’t want to speak to me or something, I was literally-” Jieun was cut off by Soonyoung’s hand silencing her. He stared at her for a second, shaking his head at her rambling.

“Well, as you can, I’m perfectly fine. You don’t have to worry anymore.” he said softly to Jieun, who was slightly traumatised. 

“Yeah. Sorry. But why did you want me to come here to talk with you?” Jieun asked curiously. Soonyoung smirked at the other, making the latter frown. “What? Is there something on my face?”

“I feel like I should ask you that. Didn’t you also have something to tell me?”

“Oh… you saw that.” Jieun said, blushing slightly. She had almost forgot about it until Soonyoung mentioned it, making her nerves skyrocket.

“I’ll tell you, but, I asked first so you have to answer me first.” Jieun smoothly responded, avoiding the question for now. Soonyoung took notice of that, something glinting in his eye.

“That, my friend, was just an excuse to get you to come here. In fact, I’m going to have to ask you to hold your thought for a second. I need you to come with me somewhere.”

Jieun was confused. “Why?”

“I was to show you something.” he started to walk, with Jieun following behind, still not very sure where they were going. Soonyoung fished for his keys in his pocket, handing hitting the metal deep in the bottom. He took it out and pointed it at a vehicle, which even though Jieun could not see properly, was probably his car. A small beep followed after he pressed a button, car lights flashing for a second before turning off automatically.

Jieun got in shortly after Soonyoung did, mentally preparing herself for whatever she was about to be shown. Jieun put on her seatbelt as Soonyoung started the engine, car rumbling as it started up. He switched his headlights on, focusing. His eyes peered into the side mirror closest to him to check for incoming vehicles, and when there weren’t any, he pulled out of the parking spot. They were on their way.

“How far are we going?” Jieun questioned. It was now 11:39 pm and void of any light except for the one coming from the car and the streetlights. At this point in time, there were obviously still people out either partying, drinking, having late night fun, but it wasn’t made very obvious with the lack of people on the streets.

“Uh, not that far… it’ll probably take us ten minutes. I think. We’ll still have to do a bit of walking when we get there.” he paused as the light turned green. “You’ll have to put on a blindfold when we’re close to the place.”

“Ooh-"

Soonyoung cut her words off, glancing at Jieun and shaking his head.
"Don't you say it, I swear to god..."
"-kinky." Jieun joked.

Soonyoung was audibly disappointed, ignoring Jieun's presence. The tips of his ears were coated with a shade of pink as he stared forward, paying every bit of attention to the road.
“All dirty minded jokes aside, it must be a surprise if I can’t see it straight away...” Jieun deduced, feeling curious as to what this 'surprise' could be.

Soonyoung smiled knowingly, glancing at Jieun for a second before turning his view back on the road. “Sure is.”

I usually don't update on my phone because of typos and because it's generally easier to write on a computer but now my parents confiscated that privilege (I feel so stupid for spending 30 seconds trying to spell 'privilege') and I'm forced to write on my phone which is slow.... and also I'm going to miss out on the freaking zhongli banner with my guaranteed five star and yanfei- (hello if you're a genshin fan!!)

anyway rant aside, have I got you guys wondering what this surprise could be? or is it very obvious?
