Jieun hurried along wearing a bag, patting her half finger-deep pockets to check she had her keys and quickly put her shoes on. She stood straight once she was ready to go and turned the doorknob to her house, fishing the keys for her door out and securely locking the place.

Today she was meeting with Junhui, the artist that wanted to collaborate with her. According to him, they would be meeting up to discuss the plan and theme for the painting.

Jieun walked swiftly to the cafe they would meet at despite being very early. She didn't want to keep Jun waiting like she usually would with any meetup. This was business, and quite honestly, hanging out with your two best friends and one of their boyfriends was not business. Jieun was interested to see what kind of a person Jun was since this would be the first time she would have seen him.

When the female made it to the cafe, she messaged Jun to inform him she was here. It turned out that Jun had also arrived earlier and replied to her saying he would be in a denim jacket and black ripped jeans while waving. It was very very... unhelpful. Nonetheless, Jieun took note of this and walked inside, pushing the large glass doors aside and turning her head to look in every direction. She saw a man sitting on one of the further tables that seemed to match Jun's description and walked over.

"Hi, are you by any chance Junhui?" she asked, hoping she wouldn't have to face the embarrassment of talking to the wrong person.

"Yeah, you're Jieun, right?" Junhui looked at Jieun and smiled, reaching a hand to shake. "Thank you for meeting up with me!"

Jieun nodded and shook his outstretched hand before taking a seat. She hung her purse-bag on the back of the seat. Her eyes locked with Jun's, who cleared his throat before looking back down, where a menu lay on the table.

"So you come here often?" Jieun said, trying to make small talk with the other.

"Mhm."

"What do you usually come here to eat or drink?" she sounded like a prying reporter and asked herself to stop and order her drink, but she couldn't help but ask the question.

"I really like trying out the new stuff they have, since it's all so good but my go-to is coffee. But," Jun spoke and winked at Jieun, bringing out a small notepad. "I think we should be here to plan, not to small talk." He opened the notepad and it revealed concept ideas for the collaboration he spoke of.

"A painting?"

"Uh, yes. I'm sorry for not consulting you earlier but I've already come up with a theme. Is that okay? " Jieun had no reason to refuse so she nodded her head.

"Yeah I'm fine with that." she scanned the notes written on the brief plan and nodded again. "So the theme is a mystical forest?"

"There'll probably be a lot of forest animals." he paused. "As many as we can fit, that is."

"We should add deer, foxes, wild rabbits, squirrels, a prowling tiger and possibly fireflies if it's at night," Jieun said, bringing more ideas to the table.

"Right! I did forget to mention that I want it to be set during the nighttime. I think it'll add more of that mystic vibe we're trying to go for." Jun inhaled and looked at Jieun, smiling.

"Do you think there should be any weather included?"

"Uh- a light fog actually. To give it that vibe we're trying to achieve y'know?"

The two took some time to write down the ideas, scribbling on the paper and drawing examples of what things could look like. In the middle of discussing something, Jun suddenly stopped talking and caused Jieun to look up in concern.

"Is there something wrong?" she made eye contact with him and he shook his head.

"No, I'm just thinking. We're here in a cafe, so why don't we just order some drinks first and take a small break?"

Jieun glanced down at the table covered with papers of drawings and notes and gestured at them.

"So? We'll just tidy them up!" Jun got to work piling the papers up and placing them on the side of the table as Jieun called the waitress to order.
