Soonyoung travelled from his apartment, facing the biting chill that forced his body to heat up.
He walked through the vegetable section, making sure to grab many. Soonyoung liked to have a healthy diet, contrary to his kitchen cupboard that had many bags of snacks. It was mainly how he was raised. He had grown up in a wealthy family since his father owned a very successful company. But Soonyoung wasn't one of those spoiled kids that got everything they wanted. He was lucky to have been raised in the type of family that didn't do that.
But he still wanted to move out and live on his own. And he wasn't pressured to stay. Soonyoung's father gladly let him move out, and that's how he got here in the first place. Despite not wanting to let his father pay for his apartment costs, Soonyoung knew that once his father made up his mind, it would be almost impossible to change it.
Soonyoung began to walk through the aisles full of soft drinks, candy bars, bags of chips, cereal. The unhealthy stuff. He always made sure to maintain his healthy diet but there would be times where he just couldn't resist taking a bite of chocolate. Soonyoung knew how to take care of his body and never ate too much. But he loved food. As he should.
But he disliked soft drinks. They were always too sugary for his taste. He liked to keep it simple and have water, but he also enjoyed juice and of course, alcohol. Beer. But he rarely drank these days.
And his favourite thing in general to eat?
Well that would be a pretty easy choice for him.
It was kimchi.
Soonyoung loved it. He would always have kimchi with anything, it was just that good. His parents told him that when they first gave him some to try, they could just tell by the little twinkle in his eyes that he absolutely loved it. It was like his other half. And this was not him fitting with the stereotype of Koreans and kimchi, he just genuinely loved it that much.
And that was why he was currently drooling over the kimchi at the supermarket. Well, there was only one packet left. Which was kind of outrageous. It was a korean supermarket that didn't have kimchi. It made tooootal sense.
He reached out, wanting to be the last person to take the kimchi before anyone else got it, but just before he did, another hand reached out.
It was like in slow-motion, seeing the kimchi slowly being taken away by someone that wasn't Soonyoung. He let out a small yelp as he realised what happened.
"My kimchi-" he turned to glare at the one who had stolen his precious food.
This chapter and the next one will probably be a bit short. Like really short. This one is like just under 500, but as I've said before, they will definitely get better. 'They' being the length-
