Jieun let out a yelp of horror and gasped as she took in what just happened. All Jieun could feel was an immense shock as bits of debris flew everywhere and many people yelled out, trying to help the people inside.

Soonyoung stomped on the breaks quickly, not hesitating to stop his car and unbuckle his seatbelt to analyse the situation at hand. He leaned close to the windshield and Jieun called the ambulance, hoping that this would help those strangers stuck in the car.

"Holy shit Jieun. I feel kind of terrible for the other people for saying this but I'm so glad that that car in front isn't us. We should probably stay here if the police come and need to question about what was happening here at the time." Soonyoung said, managing to maneuver his car next to the sidewalk.

Jieun nodded, still watching the scene in fear and relief as the ambulances zoomed past Soonyoung's car, with their sirens and lights flashing. They quickly took the situation into their own hands, making sure to carefully carry the slightly bloody and unconscious body onto a stretcher. The nurses moved him into the vehicle and they soon drove off with him.

All that was now left was the multiple shards of glass and broken metal on the ground. As well as the ruined car.

Police arrived shortly after the incident happened, placing vivid traffic cones around the mess and a large sign telling passing cars to go around. They got out of their cars, walking around to survey the area and question the people who might have witnessed the crash. Soonyoung and Jieun told them exactly what happened.

"We were going down the main road when at a road, a car turned too early and the car in front of us got obliterated. We managed to stop before we suffered the damage." Soonyoung informed the officer and the policeman nodded, thanking his input to the situation and jotting down the information onto paper.

"You can be on your way now, thank you and have a nice day," he gestured for the two to get going and walked off. Soonyoung turned his head and gazed at Jieun.

"Are you okay? We can just stay here for a while if you need to take a break for a moment." he waited for Jieun to answer. A small shake of her head was the response she gave.

"No, it's fine. You can keep going, I'm already slightly over it. It just came as a shock, I hope those people involved with the crash are okay..." her words became increasingly quieter and she soon trailed off, leaving the two in a strange silence. Soonyoung slowly nodded his head and started his car once again. He accelerated and they both said nothing to each other for the remainder of the drive.

Jieun wordlessly exchanged looks with Soonyoung, who hesitantly waved goodbye before opening the door to his apartment and walking inside, sealing Jieun off. Jieun did the same, walking inside to the kitchen to prep a quick meal for herself.

Jieun continued her day as normal, but the car crash still lingered on her mind.
