“So, Jieun... shouldn't there be something you need to tell me? I mean, now that we're all alone and all.”

“Yeah, I guess I should finally tell you…” Jieun began, hesitating in the middle of her sentence, the doubt finally hitting her. Soonyoung stared at her in anticipation, wondering what she was about to say and what she was thinking. Jieun gathered all her courage and looked up from the pond, staring deeply into Soonyoung’s eyes. “I…” she took a breath, trying to regain her confidence.

“You…?” Soonyoung mimicked.

“I just want to start off by telling you how grateful I am for throwing this on my birthday. I haven’t had the chance to thank you yet, and I need to tell you how much I appreciate all that you’ve done for me. ”

Soonyoung smiled brightly, “I could definitely say the same to you.”

Jieun smiled back, finally preparing herself for the big one.

“And second, I really really like you. I don't know if you feel the same about me, but I've been wanting to tell you for a while. And I’m so glad that I just, but I just want to know something…” Jieun breathed, continuing to keep eye contact.

Is it usually this hot at night???

Soonyoung stared back. Jieun gazed deep into his soul, trying to find an emotion she could decipher on his seemingly blank face. 

“Soonyoung, can I be your girlfriend?” she finally asked. As if he had just taken the words in properly, Soonyoung's face lit up, eyes shining as he realised that Jieun liked him. In that way.

“Oh my god... yes, yes!! You don't know how happy I am right now. Of course Jieun, let's date.” he replied.

The next thing that happened was something was incredible. 

Soonyoung leaned forward, admiring Jieun's beautiful face. Her throat hitched as the space between the two grew smaller and smaller, face burning from the heat and exhilaration. Soonyoung's face lingered above hers for seconds that seemed like minutes to the girl, his eyes scanning her before returning back to her eyes. The tension was unreal.

Soonyoung finally kissed her after stretching it out to tease Jieun. Their lips attached, the sweet puff of love swirling around the pair in a cloud of want and desire. Cheeks burned bright red, eyes closed. Jieun tasted his strangely sweet strawberry lips on hers and she reciprocated, arms swinging onto Soonyoung’s shoulders. Soonyoung smiled into the kiss, wanting to drag it out for as long as he could. After Soonyoung finally ended their kiss, a sly wink was sent to the girl as she rolled her eyes at his action. Soonyoung let out a laugh, causing the shorter to smile fondly.

“We're really dating now, right?” he asked almost too innocently, and cheerfully. Jieun suddenly felt the need to squish one of Soonyoung’s cheeks, seeming mesmerized before answering his question.

“Duh. What else?” she laughed, leaning upwards and pecking Soonyoung on the lip, before fitting his hand in hers. “Come on, we should get back to the others. They might be wondering where we are.”

The male nodded, smiling stupidly after Jieun as she pulled him along. He looked down at their two hands intertwined fondly, before feeling someone ruffle his hair. Looking up, he saw Jieun with her eyebrows raised.

"Come on, sweetie, they'll be waiting."
