The spoon clattered against the bowl as Soonyoung scooped up the last remaining drop of soup. He savoured the last bit and put the bowl down, leaning back. He stumbled mid-air as there was nothing supporting his back and he almost fell. He quickly clutched the counter to stop himself from gaining a head injury, hoisting himself upwards and back to sitting. Soonyoung stared ahead, pretending nothing happened.

There was a small snicker.

His head snapped around and he glared at the girl that lay on the couch, feeling bloated after eating a well-cooked meal.

"Shut up, you didn't see anything." This made her laugh even louder, to the point where she was clutching her stomach and having trouble breathing. He shook his head. "Anyways, thanks for the meal. I should get going now."

Jieun sat up, nodding, calming herself after the laughing fit. The two were actually being reasonable now, after sharing a few jokes with each other. It didn't take very long for this to happen however.

"Okay. I guess I'll see you then." Jieun stood up, making her way to the door and opening it for Soonyoung. Jieun couldn't shake the feeling that she was forgetting something. Her eyes widened when she realised what it was she was forgetting. 

"OH WAIT!" Soonyoung stopped in his tracks and turned around to look at the girl in confusion.

"What?"

"I forgot to actually ask for your name the last time I saw you. I don't actually know it."

"Oh, right. My name's Soonyoung, but you can call me Soon." he winked. Jieun stood there in shock as her brain processed the words that came out of her mouth. 

"Y-you-" she was speechless. You could hear the sound of the door closing and she was left on her own again. Jieun shook her head, feeling a soft blush cover her cheeks.
"Idiot," she mumbled to herself, before getting a hold of herself. She spent the last few remaining hours of the day scrolling down on her phone and listening to music before getting ready for bed and sleeping.

Just a bit of a filler chapter, sorry for the shortness of it ;-;

Like I'm genuinely sorry these chapters aren't getting lengthier. I think I'll update another chapter today later to make up for it :)
