So I've decided to start updating this on Tuesdays and Fridays NZT, starting from this week, which means that there will be at least three updates this week!

Jieun walked up the flight of stairs that belonged to the apartment building. She was relieved when she heard no sign of music playing. Thankfully she would be getting some sleep tonight.

The girl glanced at the door that belonged to her SHINee loving neighbour before opening hers and walking in. It was a bit of a chilly night so Jieun made sure to raise the temperature in the apartment. Soon, she took a warm shower before changing into her PJs and climbing into bed, turning on the tv that had been installed. The rest of the night was filled with laughter after watching her favourite sitcoms.

But eventually, she decided to sleep. Turning off the television, she laid down, sheets covering everything but her face and neck.

Jieun woke up the next day, thankfully naturally and not due to loud music like the other day. She let out a small groan, lifting her arms up to stretch and blinking profusely. She sat there in the bed for a while before being bothered to get out. After many long minutes of getting ready, which was wasted by lazily dressing in sweatpants and an oversized hoodie, the doorbell suddenly rang.

Jieun's eyebrows furrowed in confusion. She wasn't expecting anyone today.

Calmly placing down the empty plate in her hands, Jieun walked to the door, her hair swaying and brushing gently against her back as she walked.

It was the landlady.

"Hello Jieun! How is your day today? I just wanted to see how you were settling in." an almost contagious smile spread across Nawoon's face. Nawoon was the epitome of that 'nice old lady'. Jieun smiled back.

"Thank you, my day is going fine so far."

"That's good. Have you had any disturbances lately?" Jieun remembered the day before, and her neighbour.

"Um... yes actually. The neighbour on the right has been playing music loudly... but it's nothing you haven't told me already so I knew it would happen." she pointed in the direction of the apartment and Nawoon nodded.

"I apologise for that! We can't really do anything about him since his father is quite wealthy and might take legal action or something, which we wouldn't want."

"Ahh. I see. That's fine, I'll just try to ignore it as much as I can." So they're a he.

"I should go now. Have a nice day Jieun."

"Yes, and you too." Jieun closed the door and heard her stomach rumble.

Jieun made her way towards the kitchen counter, deciding on what to make for breakfast.

So she grabbed the right ingredients and began to make pancakes. Shortly after getting the batter ready, she started to cook them, flipping them occasionally and soon, they were ready to eat. Jieun's mouth started to water when the waft of pancakes drifted through the air.

She sat down at the table, placing the plate down and dribbling maple syrup on top. Her first bite of pancake was filled with the sweet taste of syrup, lingering on her tongue even after she had swallowed. They were just perfect.

Jieun seemed to never get enough of the pancakes and she kept munching until she heard the doorbell rang for the second time this day. She had to admit, she was slightly annoyed by all the sudden people visiting but got up anyway.

The door swung open to reveal a young man Jieun had never met before.

Ooh I wonder who it could be?1?!/!?!!! 🤔🤔
