Mirriella pov
He shouted for them to come in. The door opened to reveal Stefan, leading in four other men, and two women. Both wearing skimpy outfits, that barely covered anything.
"Arthur." Jaden said to him.
"Jaden." He said back as he reached his hand out to Jaden.
They shook hands and then sat back on the seats. The other guy gave Jaden a bunch of paperwork to look over.
"Who is this sexy piece of ass?" This Arthur guy asked as he walked over to me.
He went to stroke my cheek, but I grabbed his hand and twisted his arm. I sighed when another situation like the one at Jaden's house occurred. I now had a bunch of guns pointed directly at me, all loaded and cocked.
"For fuck sake." Jaden mumbled under his breath as he turned to me. "Yeah, she's not for you." He explained. "Let him go." He said to me.
I reluctantly dropped him from my grip and he groaned. He stood up and straightened his suit. He scowled at me and I scowled back.
"Jaden if these guns aren't off of me in five seconds I'm shooting one of them." I warned him.
"Shut the fuck go and sit down. Drop your weapons." He said to me and to them.
"Why is she here then? I mean she is dressed like one of your sluts. She's got her hair up like one too. So if she's not here for sucking dick, why is she here?" Arthur asked as he sat down.
"That is none of your fucking concern. Just be glad she somewhat listens to me." He said as he placed the paper down. "You really want that much for that land?" He asked in disbelief.
"We really need to push this land. So yes." Arthur said.
I stood up and walked over to the paper. I pushed Jaden's chair out further so I can sit on his lap and read over the deal. This dude wanted half a million dollars for two acres of land. That's a ridiculous deal, and Jaden would be stupid to accept it.
"Don't take this deal." I whispered to him.
"Out." He said to Arthur and his team.
He sighed and stood up. He took his little sluts and bodyguards out with him and shut the door.
"Why?" He asked me.
"He wants $500,000 for two acres of land. That's a scam and a half. You can get thirty acres of land for less than that. By the looks of it, he needs that deal more than you do, so either tell him it's a no deal, or make him drop the price significantly." I explained as I read over the deal again. "If you sign these papers you'll be screwing yourself over." I said as I got up off his lap and back over to my seat on the couch.
"How much do you think I should drop the price to then?" He asked as he turned in the chair to face me.
"Well, typically an acre of land will sell for the best part of twenty thousand, so I'd say the most you should settle for is eighty thousand. Don't go for anything higher, and if you can get it for lower take it." I said as he nodded.
He signalled to Stefan to bring the others back in. They walked in and sat back down.
"Well?" Arthur asked as he looked at Jaden's stone face.
"I'm not buying for half million. That's fucked. I'd be willing to do it for a dropped price of fifty five thousand." He said as he leant back on the chair.
"That's over a four hundred thousand drop. That's ridiculous." He scoffed.
"Well then, you can just walk out of the door empty handed." Jaden dismissed.
"Fine." Arthur sighed. "Will you at least do eighty thousand?" He asked, desperation in his tone.
Jaden turned to me, asking me what he should do. I wanted to play with this guy so I told him to do seventy five or nothing with my hands. He nodded and turned back.
"Seventy." He said.
"Seventy nine." Arthur reasoned.
"You know what, seventy three. Final offer, take it or leave it." Jaden said.
"Fine. I'll take seventy three for it." Arthur sighed as he shook hands with Jaden.
"Pleasure doing business with you." Jaden smiled sarcastically at him.
"Yeah, yeah. Come on, let's go." Arthur dismissed as he walked out with his crew.
Stefan walked up behind them and shut the door. He then turned around and looked at me wide eyed.
"You better fucking keep her. She just saved you a buttfuck amount of money." He said to Jaden.
"Well no fucking shit Sherlock." He said as he turned in the chair to look at me. "How do you know so much about land investment?" He asked.
"My dad used to do a job where he'd have to shift land and work on land investment. It's just something I picked up on over the years he talked about it." I explained.
"You don't talk about your family a lot." Stefan said randomly.
"There's a reason for that." I said, glaring directly at Jaden, thinking back to his degrading and sarcastic reaction to what I told him a few days ago. I didn't even bother to try and hide the fact that people like him are one of the many reasons I don't talk about my family.
"I should've guessed you would've had something to do with it." Stefan said to Jaden, who just smiled sarcastically at him.
"Why thank you." He said in his sarcastic tone.
"You get off on being an asshole don't you?" Stefan asked him.
"What I do and don't get off to is none of your business quite frankly." Jaden dismissed as he stood up, grabbing my wrist and dragging me out with him.
"Jesus Christ. I can walk you know, and I'm not a fucking pet. You can let me walk by myself." I said as I pulled my worst from his grasp.
