Mirriella pov

"Is my room done yet?" Louie asked when I had entered the living room.

"No not yet. I don't think it'll be done today." I told him honestly as I sat down on the floor.

"Where am I supposed to sleep then?" He asked me as he put a chicken cube in his mouth.

"Well if you want, you can sleep in my room for tonight and then I'll work through the night on your room, so then that way it'll be ready for when you wake up." I suggested as I also ate a bit of chicken.

"Can uncle Jaden stay with me?" He asked me, causing Jaden to look up at the mention of his name.

"I don't know, you'll have to ask him." I shrugged as he turned to Jaden.

"Can you stay with me in MiMi's room please?" Louie asked.

I had to hold in my laugh because I could practically see the groan in Jaden's eyes as he was asked that question. He looked at me for help but I just shook my head at him, causing him to roll his eyes at me.

"Why do you want me there?"

"Because it's a new place. I want you to keep me safe." Louie shrugged.

"But it's in-"

"You slept with me and mommy when we went to that place." He argued.

"That was different." Jaden said back.

"Please? You'd do it for mommy."

"I fucking hate kids." He mumbled under his breath. "Fine. I'll stay with you in Mirri's room." He groaned as Louie cheered.

"Yay, thank you." He squealed as he crawled across the sofa and hugged Jaden.

"Yeah, yeah." He laughed slightly.

After I had finished eating, I left straight away to start working again.

I had been working for another two or so hours when Louie had stood at the door with his hand over his eyes.

"MiMi?"

"Yes?" I asked as I put the paintbrush down.

"Can you come out here so I can hug you goodnight? I wanna see it when it's all done." He explained.

"Of course I can." I smiled as I picked him up to move him slightly out of the doorway so I could shut the door, not wanting to spoil it for him.

When he heard the door shut, he took his hands off his eyes and looked at me. He smiled before wrapping his arms around my legs. I crouched down so I was around the same height as him, making it easier for him to hug my entire body. He pulled away and kissed my cheek as a sign of appreciation, before walking away, mumbling a small "goodnight," and disappearing into my room.

Jaden had soon walked up the stairs. I already knew that he was wearing what he would wear to sleep, considering he was wearing just his sweatpants. He tried walking directly passed me into his room.

"Nope, nice try, but you promised him." I said, putting my hand on his chest to stop him walking.

"Oh for fuck sake." He groaned, obviously forgetting what he promised. "But I don't want to sleep in your room." He whined.

"But he wants to sleep with you. So it's either you sleep in my room with him, or he sleeps in your room with you." I said, kneeing that would get to him.

"Fuck you." He mumbled as he walked away from me.

"I'm busy now, can we reschedule?" I shouted out to him as he laughed.

He too, disappeared into the depths of my room. I walked into Louie's room and continued to paint.

I had been working for about three more hours and had completely finished the first six avengers with the symbol behind them. I was now starting on the galaxy while waiting for the other characters to dry. I almost fucking jumped out of my skin when I heard someone's voice come from the doorway.

"You probably shouldn't be working this late into the night."

"Oh god. Stefan, you scared me." I laughed as I put the paintbrush down.

"Sorry, that's my bad. But still, from what Jaden said earlier, you've been working on this all day. I don't think it's wise for you to be working on it all night too." He suggested as he leant against the door post.

"Oh, I'll be fine. I used to do this before but I'd work on pieces for days at a time. This will be nothing." I shrugged as he nodded.

"Alright, well if you think you'll be fine, I won't stop you. But just look after yourself, yeah?" He asked, I nodded with a small smile.

It's nice to know he cares.

He walked away and I went back to painting.

It had soon got to a point where I was literally sitting and watching paint dry. The galaxy and characters on one wall were almost finished, I just needed to add the final details. And the characters on the second wall were still wet. I had to keep reminding myself that I can't use a hairdryer to dry the paint faster because Jaden and Louie were asleep.

At least, I thought Jaden was asleep.

"You look busy." He laughed as he pushed off the doorway.

I was laying down on the floor facing the ceiling. The floor was very cold and soothing to my back considering I've been doing nothing but painting all day.

"Can't you see I am very very busy right now. I'm surprised I even have time to talk with my tight schedule." I said sarcastically.

"Why are you laying on the floor and staring at the ceiling?" He asked as he stood over me, his face now coming into my field of view.

"It's better than watching paint dry." I shrugged.

"It looks good." He said as he looked around the room.

"I know." I laughed slightly as I stretched. "Actually, no it doesn't. There are so many places that I need to fix." I said as my voice strained and let out a slight moan from stretching.

"I'm going to ignore the moan and ask where you need to fix." He stated as he looked at the walls trying to find what I was talking about.

"On that wall. There are so many smudges and runs of the paint." I said as I pointed to the wall with all the other characters on it.
