Chapter 34

Mirriella pov

I was woken up by a little body jumping up and down on my bed. I opened my eyes to see Louie laughing and giggling as he bounced on the mattress.

"Morning MiMi." He screamed when he saw me awake.

"Good morning Louie." I laughed at his reaction as I sat up.

"Can we paint my room today?" He asked as he flipped onto my bed.

"I'm sure that can be arranged, just let me get up and get dressed and then I'll come and we can paint your room." I confirmed as he cheered.

"Thank you." He said as he wrapped his arms around me before getting up and running out of the room.

I laughed to myself at how cute he was before getting up. I went into the bathroom and brushed my teeth, washing my face and putting my hair up in a messy bun. I walked out of the bathroom and into my closet to put on an old pair of my paint clothes. I rested my glasses on the top of my head and picked up my box of paints. I moved the paints into Louie's room and waited for him to return so I could start sketching the walls. He came running into the room about two minutes after I had got inside.

"Hi MiMi." He shouted as he waved at me excitedly.

"Hi Louie." I shouted back as I also waved excitedly at him.

"Right, what theme are we thinking for the room?" I asked him as I sat down on the floor and got my phone out.

"Can I have a marvel theme please?" He asked as he stopped me scrolling when he saw all the marvel characters.

"Of course you can. What characters do you want?" I asked him as I got a pencil out to start sketching.

"Can I have all the original avengers with the avengers sign behind them on this wall?" He asked as he pointed to the wall opposite his bed. "And then, the others on this wall?" He said as he pointed to the wall opposite the window. "And then 'I love you 3000' on this wall?" He asked as he pointed to the wall with the bay window.

"I'm sure that can be arranged. What do you want on this wall?" I asked as I pointed to the wall behind his bed.

"Can I have a galaxy please?"

He's so polite, it's hard to believe he's Jaden's nephew.

"I can do that for you." I smiled as his eyes filled with excitement.

"Yay. Thank you." He cheered as he hugged my legs. "Can you come and get me when it's done?" He asked as he looked up at me.

"Of course I will." I smiled as he thanked me one more time before he ran off to go wherever he was.

I got to work, sketching out all of the things he asked for. I had a feeling that this was going to take a lot longer than I had anticipated. I ran a white base coat over all of the outlines and while waiting for that to dry, I decided to work on the words for the bay window.

By the time I was done with the words, the base coats finished drying. I could finally start working on building the colour of the characters. I started with the six original characters, Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Black Widow, Hulk and Hawkeye. I first did the original skin tone of each character and the first lot of colour on the avengers signs.

Once I was done painting the first layer of colour, I stepped back to have a look at it. It didn't look like very much as of right now, but it was coking together quite quickly. I moved away from that wall to wait for it to dry and moved onto the other wall. On this wall there was going to be: The Black Panther, The Winter Soldier, The Falcon, Captain Marvel, The Scarlet Witch, The Wasp, Ant-man and Spider-Man. I was going to surprise him and paint The Guardians of the Galaxy over the galaxy he wanted on the other wall.

This wall didn't take as long for some reason to paint the base coats or the base colours either. I had managed to get every characters skin colour and tone done all in the first lot of painting. I was about to start work on the other wall again before Jaden interrupted me.

"Mirri, it's almost eight and you still haven't eaten anything all day. You should come down and have some food." He said as he entered the room.

"I'm not hungry, I'll eat later." I shrugged as I tried to shoo him away, just wanting to get this done.

"I wasn't asking, I was telling you, I was just trying to be polite. Come down and eat some food now." He said in a sterner tone of voice.

"I don't take orders from you Jaden. Just let me get this done and then I'll eat." I said as I put the paintbrush down, not being able to concentrate properly.

"No, because this could very easily take you another twenty four hours to do. Look, all I'm asking is that you come down and eat something that has actual sustenance in it that your body can use to keep you alive. By all means, come back up and continue this afterward, just eat something." He pleaded.

"If I come down and eat something will you leave me the fuck alone?" I asked in an annoyed tone.

"I won't bother you for the rest of the night." He promised as he held his hands up. Well that's a lie.

"Fine." I groaned as I wiped my messy hands on my shirt.

"You- I- okay." He sighed, causing me to look at him weirdly.

"What?" I asked him.

"You could've just washed your hands but okay."

"Don't question me." I sassed as I followed him out of the room.
