Mirriella pov
"Fuck sake." I groaned as I was tempted to throw the paintbrush against the floor.
I knew this was coming. I knew that as soon as I let him carry me out of the room I'd lose my hyper focus. And now I can't bring myself to focus on one thing again.
I had left Jaden asleep downstairs when I remembered that I still needed to finish these walls. Luckily for me and my frustrating focus, I didn't have much left to do. I only had a few final details to finish off, but my focus just wasn't working with me.
I was sat on the floor with my knees tucked into my chest as I ran a brush of green paint up and down my arm. I sighed as my annoyance continued to grow as I just couldn't find the energy or the motivation in me to finish it.
"What are you doing?" A voice asked, startling me from the silence I had created.
"I am trying to find the motivation to finish this piece for Louie." I answered as I stopped painting on my arm.
I looked up to see Jaden leaning against the doorframe with his grey sweats hanging loosely on his hips. He had a look of confusion written on his face as he didn't move but instead stuffed his hands in his pockets.
"What do you mean 'trying to find motivation'?" He asked.
"I lost my hyper focus and now I can't get it back." I explained.
"How did you lose your hyper focus?" He asked as he walked into the room, stopping a little way away from me as he looked around the room.
"Uh, somewhere between letting you carry me out of the room and me riding you, where I gained another lot of hyper focus but dropped this one." I shrugged as I dropped the paintbrush onto the palette.
"You should've told me to stop then." He said, a hint of annoyance in his voice as he probably thought I was blaming him.
"If I wanted you to stop, I would have stopped you. If I had continued painting I would've caused myself to pass out from the migraine. And if I went with you I would've lost my hyper focus like I did and then become annoyed when it wouldn't come back. Either way, I would have ended up frustrated with myself. I'm not blaming you." I said in a bored tone as I stood up and walked to look at the walls.
"How much more do you have to do?" He asked as he stood behind me.
"Well in the last twenty minutes, that wall over there has ran so I'm gonna need to fix that, and then it all has to have the final details put in." I groaned as I pointed to the wall behind us.
I heard him turn around as he looked at the wall. I walked over and picked up a brush. I crouched down in front of the wall and looked up at it, trying to find a way to bring back my motivation. I closed my eyes and thought about Louie's little face when I told him I'd do the paintings for him.
Surprisingly, it worked. I stood up and started working on the fine details on the wall that hadn't run. It wasn't long before my mind completely blanked out any background noise and I was in a world of silence.

Jaden pov
It's like something snapped in her. One minute she was completely unmotivated to even hold that paintbrush properly and the next she's in a complete world of her own. She was completely ignoring my presence.
"Mirriella?"
There was no way that she was in this room with me. I decided to stay in here and watch her. It's really fascinating to see her in her own little bubble. She's not even listening to music or anything she is just solely focused on the painting.
She's really talented as well. Sometimes it looks like she's not even holding the brush. I don't understand how something this complex and intricate can come as simple as writing to her. It's literally like she has just picked up a pen and started writing an essay.
"Why the fuck are you watching her like a creep?" Remi's voice rang through my ears, startling me.
"Shut the fuck up. I was talking to her not so long ago." I answered.
"Well I need to talk to her now so-"
"She's not here." I cut her off, she gave me one of the most confused look I think I've ever seen her give me.
"Jaden, she's standing right there. I can see her with my own fucking eyes. How much have you had to drink?" She laughed as she continued to make her way over to Mirri.
I rolled my eyes and scoffed at her statement while pulling her arm to keep her away from the concentrated girl.
"I haven't had anything to drink asshole. Believe it or not, I know she is here physically. What I'm saying is that she's not here mentally, she's in a world of her own." I explained.
"Really? You expect me to believe that?"
"Try it if you don't believe me. Don't touch her, but try and gain her attention." I said as I crossed my arms across my chest.
"Seriously?" I nodded. "For fuck sake."
"Mirri?" She shouted at her.
"Jesus Christ Remi. Why are you shouting?" Stefan asked as he walked through the door. "Woah." He said as he looked around the room.
"Why do you need to talk to her anyway?" I asked her as she looked over at me.
"Oh, uh, girl problems?" She answered.
"Yeah, I'm convinced." Stefan said, noticing how unbelievable her answer was.
"I don't need you to be convinced. I highly doubt you two want to talk about what size tampons are best for her to use." She shrugged.
"Size?" We asked at the same time.
"Idiots." She rolled her eyes before walking out of the room.
