Mirriella pov

"Look, you're gonna hear a lot of stuff in there. I'm going to need you to bite your tongue." He said, stopping me before I walked in.

"Don't worry, I'll behave." I promised.

"Good, now you know that hand?"

"Of course I do. The light grey cards go to her and the ones slightly darker go to you." I recited.

"And the gun?"

"Spin it round twice and make sure the bullet is exactly three chambers away from the firing one. That way you'll shoot it against your head, it won't fire, and then when she fires her brains will be decorating the wall." I said as he nodded.

"Great. Don't mess this up." He said as he pointed at me.

"I won't." I smiled as he nodded and walked in.

"Hello Mr Hossler." A heavy Russian voice said. "Ah, who is this beautiful young woman you've got with you?" She asked as I walked in behind him.

"Katrina. This is Jodie, our new bunny." He said, changing my name.

I walked further inside and saw three people in the room. Katrina, who was sat down in the chair opposite and empty one, where Jaden would sit. And two of her bodyguards. They all had the same tattoo on their forearm.

"Jodie you say? Come here little bunny

"Jodie you say? Come here little bunny." She said as she moved her fingers in a 'come here' motion.

"Sorry to disappoint Katrina, but she is not to be touched. She's just here on neutral grounds. Can't have you trying to sway this now can we?" He asked as he sat down in the chair opposite her.

"You're right, you're right. So tell me, where did this Jodie come from? What drug gang?" She asked as she leaned forward on the table.

"She's from the British group that have their base in New York. They trade with both you and I and have never had any run ins or problems with either." Jaden explained.

Katrina seemed satisfied with the answer and gave the go ahead for me to start the deal. I folded the cards exactly the way I was taught to, ensuring that Jaden's card were always underneath the rigged deck.

The game started off as soon as the final card was dealt. Katrina moved first and only put in $1,000. Jaden raised her by ten and continued to do so throughout the game. It soon came down to where Katrina had over $300,000 in the middle, Jaden having over ten times that.

"So Katrina, your make or break. You putting down, or are you folding?" Jaden asked as he leaned forward on the table to intimidate her.

He didn't know what she had in her hand. The rigged deck made it seem to her as if she was winning so she's put in as much as possible. But Jaden had the winning hand. He had a straight royal flush of all the same suit in his hand.

"I'm making." She answered as she pushed the rest of her money into the centre of the table.

"You sure you want to do that?" He asked as he pushed the rest of his money in.

"Yes." She said as she put her cards on the table face up.

She almost had a royal flush. Instead of the ace, she had a nine, causing her to have a simple run. Jaden laughed bitterly as he placed his cards face up on the table.

"Nice try." He said as he pulled all the money onto his side of the table.

"We must play again." She demanded.

"No no, your terms said we play one round of poker and one round of Russian Roulette. So long as neither of us die, we can continue with the deal. You lost poker, now it's time for the Roulette." He said as another woman passed me the gun and one single bullet.

"I never lose at Roulette." She said as she crossed her arms over her chest.

I put the bullet into a chamber and spun the barrel. I saw under the table that Jaden was holding up four fingers. I quickly realised he wanted the bullet to be in the fourth chamber instead. I didn't understand why, but I did it anyway.

"As always, the guest goes first." I said as I placed the gun down in front of Katrina after cocking it.

She nodded and picked the gun up. She held the gun up to her head and put her finger on the trigger. She looked directly into Jaden's eyes as she pulled the trigger. The gun clicked and the barrel rolled, but the game continued.

Jaden did the same, holding the gun to his head and pulling the trigger, looking directly into Katrina's eyes. Again, the gun clicked as the barrel rolled. It was now Katrina's turn again.

"You think I'm stupid? I know the bullet's in the this chamber." She said as she turned the gun on Jaden.

"Is it? Let's find out. Pull the trigger." He encouraged as she held the trigger.

"Fine." She pulled it, but nothing happened. "I guess you were right. Very well, we must continue." She said as she turned the gun on herself again.

She pulled the trigger, and almost in an instant, my ears were ringing. I watched as Katrina's body slumped in the seat, the white walls instantaneously turning a deep crimson colour. Jaden stood up and shot the associates she brought with her.

"See, just like that." He shrugged as people came in after turning the lights on.

"You knew she was going to turn the gun on you." I shouted.

"She was always going to do that. What I didn't expect was for her to demand that she shoots first." He explained calmly.

"You could be fucking dead right now." I continued to shout at him.

"But I'm not. I'm here and I'm breathing. Keep your fucking cool." He said back.

"Jaden-"

"Mirri, go and get changed. You've done your job, and have earned your role as a shareholder. Go and get out of that outfit. It's over now." He said as he gripped my shoulders to stop me going haywire.

"Fine." I said as I walked out of the room.

I walked into the bathrooms, almost immediately taking my feet out of those stripper heels. I took everything off before slipping on a comfortable pair of underwear and fluffy socks. I pulled a pair of Nike Pros up my legs and an oversized hoodie. I slid on my sliders as I dumped everything in the bag. I dropped that stupid fucking bunny tail in the bin and I walked out of the bathrooms to see Jaden leaning against the wall.

"Well you look comfortable." He laughed, looking me up and down.

"I am." I nodded as I held my bag out to him. He rolled his eyes and took it from me.

"Come on, let's go home." He said as he wrapped an arm around me.
