Jaden pov
"Bitch, wake the fuck up." I felt a hand come down hard on my stomach. I groaned and rolled over, burying my face further into the pillow. "No. I told you to wake up, not go back to sleep." She groaned.
"Mirri, why do you hate me? It's eight in the morning. Go back to fucking sleep." I groaned as I felt her sit on my back.
"Jaden, I'm dying."
"Mhm."
"Jaden, your son embezzled millions of dollars and has been given the death penalty." She tried again, running her nails over my back.
"There's money on the counter, bail him out." I mumbled.
"Jaden, your daughter has a paper cut."
"She what? Is she okay?" She scoffed as she rolled off me.
"Now that I finally have your attention-"
"No. It's too early to be dealing with any problems right now." I groaned as I rolled over to lay on my back again.
"Fine then. I guess I won't tell you about how Ellie-Ann brought someone over last night when we fell asleep." She sighed as she got up out of the bed and walked over to the coffee cup she had on the desk.
"Wait. She what? No she didn't." I denied as I sat up properly.
"I heard her Jaden. Whoever she had over is still here. They've been in her room since last night." She argued as she walked back over and sat down.
"Why would she do that? I bet it's a guy. That's why she waited for us to fall asleep-"
"No wait. Where are you going? Shit. Come back." She called out as she followed me down the hall.
"Get off me." I laughed as she jumped on my back. She showed no signs of getting off so I held under her thighs so she didn't actually fall off when I started walking.
"No." I groaned as she pulled on my hair, noticing I was still heading for Ellie's room. "Kitchen now. You can grill her for questions after her friend leaves."
"But Mirri-"
"No buts Jaden. Let her live. She's nineteen years old, the least you can do is not embarrass her in front of whoever is in there. Go to the kitchen. I want coffee." I rolled my eyes and walked away from her door.
"Actually wait, no. You can fucking walk you lazy little shit." She laughed as I dropped her legs.
She wrapped her arm around mine, ensuring that I didn't turn back. I shook my head at her and continued walking to the kitchen. We both started laughing as she almost tripped on the floor but both stopped when we walked into the kitchen and saw a girl sat on the island eating cereal.
"What the fuck?" Mirri questioned, grabbing the girls attention. Did one of the boys stay here last night?
"Oh hello." She smiled at us awkwardly.
"Who are you?" I asked, crossing my arms.
"Alyssa Stephensons." She answered.
"Which one of my sons brought you back here last night?" I asked again.
"You have sons?"
"Oh my god." I heard Mirri mutter under her breath.
"What-"
"Lyss, did you see where my belt wen- oh fuck." Ellie looked shocked to see us both stood there. "Hi mom, hi dad." She laughed nervously as she walked over and took the empty bowl from Alyssa's hands. "I thought you guys were still asleep. Anyway, we need to leave. Like right now. Bye." She grabbed Alyssa's hand, kissing us both on the cheek before walking out the front door with Alyssa.
"What the fuck just happened?" Mirri asked out loud.
"I don't know, but I'm checking her room." I walked out of the kitchen and run upstairs to her room.
"What do you expect to find? A condom? They're both girls dumbass." I could practically hear her eye roll from here. "Jaden, stop. You aren't going to find anything. If they even did anything at all. They could just be friends for all we kno- Well I guess that could be suggestive." She agreed as I pointed to a pair of underwear on the floor.
"I told yo-"
"Shut up. Wait till she gets home and then you can ask her anything you want. But until then, don't make assumptions and stop invading her privacy." She stated as she grabbed my arm and pulled me out of Ellie's room.

Ellie-Ann pov
Fuck. I knew he was going to be waiting for me.
"Mom. Dads being weird again." I called out in hopes to distract him long enough to get back upstairs.
"Nice try Ellie. You're not getting out of this one. Now sit." She denied as she emerged from behind him.
"Oh great. Time to get interrogated. How fun." I mumbled under my breath and sat down on the sofa, then following afterwards, opposite me.
"Who was she?"
"Alyssa Stephensons." I answered shortly.
"Ellie-Ann." He's not happy.
"She's a friend. She had a show today, and had a spare ticket. She invited me to watch it and so I agreed. We found out that our house was a lot closer to the venue than hers so I invited her over." I explained.
"How did you meet her?" Mom asked.
"Yeah. About that-"
"Don't lie to us Ellie." Dad warned.
"I met her a few years ago. She's one of Adam's friend-"
"You still see that son of a bitch."
"Jaden, she didn't say that."
"Just because I said that I met her through him doesn't mean I see him. You see this is why I didn't want to tell you. Because you blow things way out of proportion."
"Ellie-"
"She's just a friend you say?" He asked again, remaining surprisingly calm.
"Yea-"
"Ellie, I don't think it's wise that you lie to me." He warned.
"She's a friend. That I sometimes sleep with." I answered honestly. Mom looked at me wide-eyes while dad looked calm still.
"Did you sleep with her last night?" Mom asked.
"You know? It's been a long day, I think I might go to sleep. Night." I rushed before turning and running up the stairs, feeling somewhat at ease as I heard them laughing.
