Mirriella pov

I needed to know where that bullet hit him. I took no time in kicking at the glass.

It took three kicks for it to break. Almost immediately, I was hit with a gush of scolding hot air. My eyes burnt as I threw my head back, allowing my body to take most of the heat.

"Fucking hell." I groaned.

I looked up and forced myself to open my eyes, despite the burning feeling. The bullet had scraped his hip and continued through. It was bleeding but there was no hole. It had literally skimmed his skin.

I sighed in relief and jumped off of the control pad into the control room to decrease the temperature. I put it on the coldest setting it had, which will cool the room down the fastest.

"Jaden." I shouted as I climbed through the hole I created.

I watched his head lift, but he can't see anything. He dropped his head back down when I didn't say anything else, probably thinking he's imagining it. I walked over and took the blindfold off his eyes. He groaned in pain as his eyes were also hit with a gush of hot wind, the fabric protecting them before. He opened his eyes and sighed in relief when he saw me.

"Please tell me I'm not fucking imagining this." He demanded as he held eye contact with me.

"Nope. I'm here to save your sorry ass." I answered.

I jumped up and grabbed a hold of the chain. I ignored the burning sensation that went through my hands and started pulling myself up to the exit point they come from in the ceiling. I broke the suspension pin that sent the rest of the chain falling to the ground. With me on it.

Luckily, I landed on my feet. Jaden dropped his arm and groaned in pain as that caused the hot chain to collide with his legs. I quickly climbed up the other chain and broke that suspension pin. The chain fell and I landed back on my feet.

Can't say the same for Jaden though. As soon as his arm dropped, his knees buckled and he fell to the floor. He was literally being held up by his arms at that point. He looked exhausted.

"No, come on you've gotta get up. You're gonna burn yourself and we don't have time." I tried to pull him up, but he weighs more than me. "Come on Jaden, you gotta get up." I groaned. I looked down at him and noticed his eyes were closed. "No, don't close your eyes. You gotta wake up. Fucking dammit Jaden, we're still in an enemy base." I shouted.

This wasn't going to be as easy as I thought it was. I needed to wake him up at least a little bit for him to get up and walk out with me. I had an idea, and it was really risky, but I knew if I could play it off, this would work.

"Hey you." I shouted when the elevator doors opened, faking my accent again.

"Yes?" He asked as he turned around.

"I'm taking Mr Hossler to my base. Much safer and secure there, the people here just tried to break him out. I shot them and now I want to take him to my base." I explained, demandingly.

"Okay miss, we will have him transported to your car. Go and wait outside, his body will be with you soon." He explained as he signalled for other members of the mafia to go down and collect Jaden.

"Better be." I told him before walking off to the car I drove here.

Sure enough, five minutes after arriving at my car, four men carrying Jaden's body walked out. I watched as they sat his body in the passengers seat. They walked off afterwards, not questioning anything. I waited for them to walk inside before buckling his seatbelt and speeding off.

Part of me hoped he wouldn't wake up before I got back so he didn't freak out on me. But the other part was praying he did so I didn't have to struggle to get him inside. I looked over at his body as we came to a red light and he had hardly any points that were his natural skin colour. It was all red, sore, swollen, cut or burnt. He was covered in sweat and his hair was sticking to his forehead. He needed medical attention. I opened my phone up and called the medics for our mafia on the car speakers.

"Mills?" I asked as the call connected.

"No it Gray. Mills is working now, what's up?" He said, I prefer Gray to Millie.

"Gray. I need you to listen to me. Can you try and make your way to Jaden's house? I can't take him to the work building but he needs serious help. I'm assuming you know about him being taken correct?" I asked, hoping he was informed.

"Yes of course I do. Everyone does and Stefan is going haywire down here." He answered.

"Stefan's there? Great. Get him and make your way to Jaden's house now. I'm literally about to get off the highway so I'm five minutes away. Get here as fast as you can." I demanded as I hung up the phone.

Jaden was getting to a point where he was slipping in and out of consciousness. He couldn't stay awake for long, his body in too much exhaustion and pain to keep his eyes open. He was dehydrated as well as in need of food, not to add all of the damage done already.

"Hey, I need four of you guys down here with a stretcher." I shouted to the guards when I pulled up at the house.

They all started running around, and soon, four of them were walking out with a stretcher. I opened the passenger side door and unbuckled Jaden's seatbelt. I moved out of the way so that they could put him on the stretcher and followed them inside. I told them to take him into the kitchen and lay him down on the island, the marble will help regulate his body temperature and the island is around waist height which will make it easier for Gray to help him.

"What happened to Uncle Jae?"

Shit.
