Mirriella pov

"Hey Mirri?" Remi asked as she stood at the doorway, interrupting a conversation Stefan and I were having about the meeting with Katrina the other day.

"Yeah?" I asked as I looked over at her.

"Can I talk to you for a minute?" She asked me, looking like it was urgent.

"Oh, uhm yeah sure. I'll be back in a bit Stefan." I said as he nodded and I walked out with Remi.

She gripped my wrist and took me up to her room. She was completely silent on the way up, and it made me really suspicious as to what she wanted to talk about. She shut the door behind us when we walked in and looked really panicked.

"What is going on Remi?" I asked her.

"Can you explain these?" She said as she chucked a bottle of pills onto her bed.

I knew exactly what they were. They were my medication that I take for my depression. But why does Remi have them?

"Where did you get these? And why do you have them?" I asked her as I picked up the bottle, reading the label with my name on it.

"I saw them that day you asked me to go and get your paints. I didn't pick them up then because I didn't want to be nosy, but yesterday it was bothering me so much, so I went back to get them. Why didn't you tell him that you need to take these?" She asked as she flailed her hands around when explaining.

"Because it's none of his damn business. That's why. If I needed them I would've told him, but I don't need them yet so I haven't told him. And now that you've got them for me, I don't need to tell him. So thank you." I smiled as I threw the bottle up and caught it, making my way to the door.

"Mirriella, you need to tell him about those pills." She said, causing me to stop moving.

"Says who?" I asked as I rested my hand on the door handle.

"Don't be like that. You have to tell him. He needs to know." She protested.

"Says. Who?" I asked. She stayed silent, not having an answer. "That's what I thought. By all means, when you think of a legitimate reason, come and get me. But until then, Jaden doesn't find out about it. Understand me?" She nodded. "I'm sorry, I didn't hear you."

"Yes. Jaden won't find out about it." She mumbled.

"Thank you." I said sincerely as I turned around and walked down the hall to my room.

I walked inside and put the pill bottle in a drawer in the nightstand. While I was in there, my phone went off.

"Hello?"

"You need to come down to the office please."

"Why?"

"Somethings happened."

"Okay, I'll be there soon. Do I bring Stefan?"

"No. Only you. Take the Audi."

"On my way."

I hung up the phone and started making my way downstairs.

"Hey, you good?" Stefan asked as he turned the corner.

"Uh, yeah. I'm going out for a bit, Jaden said I could take the second Audi so that's where I'll be. Bye." I said as I picked up the keys, not giving him a chance to protest or anything.

The person on the end on the phone sounded calm but worried at the same time. It was really confusing, but all I knew was that I needed to go down. I got in the car and quickly made my way to the work building. Jaden told me that everyone there now knows I own some part of the company, and that he and I are in some form of relationship.

I drove as fast as I could, it only taking me about forty five minutes to get there. I parked the Audi and it looked like everyone here was in a state of panic. I walked into the house and already, people were rushing around and panicking.

"Oi, everyone." I shouted as I stood up on one of the tables, gaining their attention. "Great. Go back to your stations. Whatever the fuck has happened will be sorted." I shouted.

"And why should we take orders from a woman?"

"Aye. Did I say you could fucking talk? Get back to your station and do your fucking job. Asshole." I shouted as I got off the table and walked towards the stairs that lead to the higher levels.

I walked up and already saw about twenty people crowded around Jaden's office. I immediately recognised Kai as the guy who called me.

"Kai. What the fuck is going on?" I asked him as I walked up, gaining his attention.

"Uhm, so something happened, and we have no clue what to do. We kinda thought you'd know what to do." He answered.

"Yeah, you said something happened over the phone. Why are you all crowded around Jaden's office? Where is Jaden?" I asked as I looked around, not seeing him.

"That's the something that happened. We have no clue where he is." I looked at him for a good few seconds, trying to figure out if he was joking or not.

"You're being serious aren't you?" I asked as he nodded. "Move. Move!" I shouted to the people surrounding his office.

I pushed through them and pushed open the door. Everything was a mess. Which is strange because Jaden likes to keep his office neat. I walked in and looked around, not finding anything obvious to mark what happened, until I saw the computer screen.

I couldn't be sure what I saw at first, so I walked closer. Clear as day, I saw his screen glitching, and the image displayed between the broken and jagged lines was the marker point and first clue as to where he could be.

"The Russian mafia did this

"The Russian mafia did this." I answered as I took a picture of the glitching screen.

"Are you sure?" A voice asked from the doorway.

"Yes, I'm fucking sure." I mumbled as I pushed past them all and called them into the meeting room.
