Will you forget me someday?
Will you forget our faces and the scent of today?

- Lilac, IU

The warm glow of the light illuminates her face which was sporting a rather confused and expectant expression. There lies a white slick paper littered with words created especially for her that was written by him, by Eric, the guy that she has complicated feelings for.

"Ange!" She almost fell on her seat after hearing a booming shout coming from her third brother.

"What is it?" She hid the letter under her pillows and went out to see the reason for her second brother's calling.

She looked up to see him arranging the curtain rod upon their second floor, although their house wasn't the biggest and can only accommodate four people on it, it was still a blessing for them to have their own home after all the prices for a house has skyrocketed these past few years.

"Can you pass me the curtain" she handed him the floral green curtain and after that, she was shooed by her second brother.

She then cleaned the house and cooked their meal as well as prepare it. She was after all the only girl in the house, her mother wasn't still home since she was still selling fish in talipapa, just fifteen minutes away from their home. It was from the harvest of her three older brothers and father this day.

(AN: Talipapa is a fish market commonly seen in the streets and is small in nature)

"Kuya, let's eat!" She called for them and the three of her brothers rushed, the eldest was away from work so there's only five of them minus her mother who is working all day.

(AN: Kuya means older brother, it can be called to men that is much older than you with or without blood relation)

The dining room was littered with brute men with their hollow-like stomachs as they devoured everything on the table, fortunately, she has already left food for her and her mother, as well as her father whom she knew, is out drinking with his dead king buddies again, or else there would be nothing left from them not even a bone.

After everything is finished, the dishes were washed and the tables were wiped, she went to her room, another perk of being the only girl in their family. She was exhausted, she finished everything in just a day and finally felt the warm comfort of her bed.

She then remembered about the letter, it was pressed on her pillow after she forgot of its existence after a rush of chores. She took it from under the pillow and attempts to clear of its wrinkle.

Her friend, Meryl who is his classmate at this time, gave her this letter after school. She claimed herself to be the matchmaker in their relationship and she was proud of it.

She then read the letter, it was an activity that was instructed by their English teacher, something about making a letter for someone you feel sorry or grateful for.

Chapter 3 is up!

Fun fact: It was actually still in her hands, it was a letter instructed by their English teacher and it was given to her. She was also the first person that Eric thought of when hearing this activity.

Have a great day everyone! Stay safe and happy!
