The sky was dotted in the cool shades of blue where strings of golden grace stretch their rays to cover the land. It was a very fine day, the sky turned out to be brighter but not much that it would hurt one's eye when they look above.
Everything seems to turn out fine except for her assignment, one that she still couldn't find the answers for and has finally resorted to copying from her friend. It was math, to begin with, w, which she didn't take a liking to and is probably every student's weakness.
"Argh! It'll be already or turn to class! Hey, finish up!" Meryl urged her friend in a rush, she then started to block her figure to avoid any teacher that was walking past them saw their act.
She finally finished the assignment she wrote, although the letters were a bit ugly it was still clear enough to be understood. She then proceeds to blow on her paper, some of the teachers in this school use their detective skills and rub their papers and if their assignments were newly made, it will be seen by the act of rubbing one's thumb into the ink of the paper they've written.
(AN: Yes, some of the teachers in our school did that and yes, I was also one of those students who copy their math assignment from friends and ex-classmates)
Fortunately, everything went fine for her except she was called by their math teacher to write the answer and explain how she solved the problem which she thankfully learned yesterday but just couldn't understand how it didn't match her friend's and others' answers.
It was Friday, August of 2017 and it was the day where I knew I wouldn't forget, but let me tell you first what made this day special.

"You all what are you all planning to do with me?" I glared at the rest of my friends, they were just grinning instead of answering me.
After school ended they immediately kidnap me to god's nowhere and even know they still wouldn't tell me what their goals are for putting me here.
"Here, put on some lip tint and make sure you look pretty" Faith gave me her precious lilting which I took.
"I'm already pretty, duh. This is just going to make me prettier" I heard Alyssa snorted and just applied some of my lips before I look at them again in confusion. "Why the hell are we here again?"
As I look around the area, there was weren't people here and it's hidden from anyone's plain sight, perfect for doing a crime.
"You're not going to kill me here don't you?"
"Oh my God, we won't! Chill!" Faith yelled in exasperation before elbowing Meryl while she then whispered something to Faith which just doubles my doubt at them.
What the hell are they plan- oh.
Oh.
I blink profusely as if I was making sure that I was seeing things, then my brows furrowed in confusion and it just deepens when he suddenly went down on his one knee and her my hand.
Like how a man would propose to the woman he loves.
"Can you be my girlfriend?" He asked in Korean, his pronunciation was good and he didn't stammer nor stumble when he asked if he wants me to be his girlfriend.
Wait. He asked me to be-
"You- you're crazy" I couldn't help by burst into laughter seeing him with one of his knees down, his eyes erratic while he but his lips, it was clear that he was nervous.
He repeated his question but this time, it was a bit shaky and I didn't want to prolong his suffering more and nodded at him. The rest of my friends who have their phones held up in their faces screamed, it was like I was being bombarded with people whistling making my ears bleed.
He finally got a smile on his face as I graced him with the same. Then he stood up, took something from his pocket, and placed it in my waist. It was a bracelet, dainty, and just fits perfectly into my wrist.
It wasn't the most amazing nor the most expensive type of jewelry, I had much better than the one he gave me but it was just as if the universe offered me the moon and stars.
Happiness burst into my heart and as his hand gripped mine tightly, I had the thought of never letting this hand go and staying with him in eternity.
