Principals office.

No, we weren't sent to the principal's office but one of our classmates, Jessa, sent a student into it after restraining herself in a week filled with students making fun of her and throwing things at her. Her straw broke when a student shoot out wet paper balls smeared in their saliva at her.

The student's parents got to be called into the guidance office and Jessa filled in with her report.

"Dang, I never knew Jessa could do that" Jessa was our new classmate that moves into our class in the middle of the semester, she was chill and I haven't had the chance to know her but from what I notice she was very relaxing with everyone.

"If she didn't do that maybe I'll be the one reporting that student," Jamie says in distaste after all it was the same student that would always mock her.

"I just wish to pinch those little monkeys and tie their lips to a knot to prevent them from talking too much" Kaye added and I nodded inwardly in agreement if I wasn't as impatient and rule-abiding I would have done that as well.

Besides tomorrow is our last day of immersion, we were also taken out of the job to teach and just monitor some class when their doing dance practice. Jamie and Kaye got their hands full decorating the PE department while I have mine with checking and giving grades to the student's work in arts.

"Should we plan a celebration? At least to thank the teachers that adopted us to their side" I suggested, the other students in the immersion program were also discussing this.

"Hmph! They just slave us away and now they want us to let us prepare feats for them? Are they so lucky?" Jamie hissed in pain after I pinch her arm and motioned her to quiet down which just made her roll her eyes at me.

"We need to thank them after all, right Kaye?" I tried to get support from Kaye and she lived up to my hopes.

"As much as I hate to say this but you're right, we're never going to see them again after all so let's just finish this task and prepare a feast then move the hell out of here"

Soon class started again, they went back to their stations as well as I and in the span of five hours we finally left the school.

I was about to go home with my friends when I saw a familiar face waiting outside of the school's gate. I squint to take a clear look and I was right into thinking it was him when we met eyes.

"Eric? What are you doing here?"

"I just wanted to um... get you home" he looked begin me with hesitation, he saw Alex giving him a dangerous glare and I couldn't help but shake my head and smile at his timidity at her.

"Okay, I'll tell my friends first, wait here!" I ran back and told my friends and soon I was bombarded with boos making me look at them helplessly.

I went back to Eric's side amidst my friend's teasing, held his hand tight with mine and we left the school with smiles on our faces.

We just toured around central mall even though we've been here countless times, ate a symptoms meal of lomi, and chatted together about how our days went by in the past two weeks.

"It must have been hard"

"Yeah, it is" I stated simply, there's no other way to define how hard it was teaching a class and making sure they understand and retain that lesson you gave. "But it was worth it"

"I'm glad, I should order more food for you, look at your thin cheeks now" he even demonstrated and pinch my cheeks and sigh in dismay while I watch him play with my cheeks.

"Okay that's enough, I'm not that thin on the contrary I'm on the heavier side"

"Fat or not you're still cute" I glared at him in annoyance but the flutters in my stomach gave another meaning.

We watched the sun settled down till the sky was almost tinted black, I wave him goodbye and teasingly blow a kiss which he foolishly took making me giggle.

...

We saw Alex coming down to sit with us, her face looked like she was about to reveal something so we moved our heads toward her.

It was the last day of our immersion and we can't wait to spread our wings and leave this place.

"What's the issue?" Emil says and Alex gestured for him to quiet down.

"The other teachers in our department got into a fight, it's because we didn't invite the others to our celebration party but in reality, it was because the other teachers didn't like someone"

"Really?" Espe asked wide eye and Alex nodded in confirmation. We also knew about it, factions or groups forming between teachers and others being appointed as the leader of the other even if they are devoid of that title.

"Shocks, would we become like that as well?"

The question that came out from Georgia wasn't answered till this day, this afternoon we rid ourselves of the constraints of immersion. We focused on our research defense that is about to come this following month and the preparation for our theater.
