He didn't want to leave the hospital at all but realistically he couldn't just ignore the fact that their daughter was at her grandmothers house waiting to see her new siblings who came a bit earlier than expected due to complications that left him on his knees in the room while they waited for her to be transferred to the OR for an emergency c-section , heart monitors on all three of them constantly beeping and Causing anxiety between them as they feared one of them would pause again .
To say these last few days had been rough would he an understatement .

"So I don't scare the babies ?"Blue whispered looking up at him with crumbs on her mouth and hands from the McDonald's he stopped and bought her on the way to the hospitals since he picked her up earlier than her grandmother usually made breakfast .
"Exactly , just remember what we practiced . Low voices and to be gentle when you're touching them , and if you're able to hold them do not pick them up without me or your mothers help Lefty , that can be very dangerous for them and we don't want them to get hurt " he reminded her as he reached over and used his thumb to brush the crumbs from her face reaching down to grab some napkins so she could clean her hands .
They had been waiting outside in the parking lot for a few minutes while she ate so now that she was done it was time to take her up their hospital wing .
