"YOU SUCK,"
"And you swallow," The reply was so quick and nonchalant, you whipped your head towards him, eyes narrowed in pure anger. The cheeky expression on his face disappeared at the sight of your expression and he muttered a soft apology, trying to fight his instinct to laugh. "That's right, shush." You snapped at him, feeding your sixth-month-old.
Oh, you thought he simply fucked you and left? Absolutely not. After you threw a fit over being potentially pregnant, he had promised to stay by your side. Ironically, the idea of being paid by a pro-hero when being a successful one yourself was way too attractive to say no. However, he won over your heart eventually.
He had been sweet and patient with you, despite his moments of teasing. In fact, you did turn out to be pregnant and throughout the pregnancy, he had taken care of you. He bought you your cravings with little to no complaints, brought everything to you despite working so hard during the day, and didn't mind assembling baby furniture, failing, and attempting again the next day.
Soon enough, during your third month, he had lamely asked you out and you ended up accepting. Now, here you are, finally married with two kids. "You're acting like I can't shut you up faster," Shindō had retorted, instantly pursing his lips when you glared at him again. "Alright, alright. I'll be quiet." He mumbled softly.
You smiled at that, going back to cooing and doting over your sixth-month-old. Makoto was a relatively cheerful little boy. He didn't fuss very much and it was relatively easy to feed him. "Yō, where's Chihiro?" Yes, as a little bit of a geek, the two of you had watched Spirited Away endlessly during your first pregnancy.
Hence, the name Chihiro.
"She should be upstairs picking her outfit," You raised a brow at him and he smiled lightly, wiping down the counter. Shindō nodded reassuringly at you, obviously sensing your concern over your four-year-old daughter attempting to pick out her own clothes. "I'll make sure she looks nice," He spoke.
"Papa, I finished!"
The little girl came stampeding down the steps, nearly missing the last one if it wasn't for your leg quickly stretching out and stopping her from hitting the floor. She cheekily grinned, her smile identical to her father's. "Thanks, Mama!" You shot another glance to Shindō, your husband merely beaming at you before turning to his daughter.
"Ah, nice outfit, Chihiro." He knelt down to high-five her, her little hands meeting his large ones as she cheered again. The little girl twirled in her skirt, loving the rainbow tutu covered in stars. "I'm going to be a fashion lady one day!" You glanced at her briefly before turning to wiping away the leftover food on Makoto's cheeks.
"Fashionista, baby." You corrected her, pecking Makoto's chubby cheek before pulling him out of the high chair. He babbled a little bit but didn't mind, settling in your arms fairly quickly before Shindō ended up taking him from you. "You have a meeting today, right?" He looked over at you whilst booping his son.
Chihiro bounced on her heels, clearly excited to go to school. "Yeah, I do." You nodded, kneeling down to quickly fix one of Chihiro's bows. She watched you with wide eyes, Shindō humming under his breath before speaking. "I can drop you off at work then. I'll just pick you up and we can go to dinner together after; Tetsutetsu's fine with picking up the kids, right?"
Having gone to Yuuei, you had grown close to the steel, sharp-toothed man and when you had kids he was annoyingly insistent on being the godfather. "Even if we didn't ask, he'd probably pick up the kids himself." Shindō raised an eyebrow at that, unclipping Makoto's bib swiftly while still looking at you.
"He claims he has some kind of godfather sixth sense or something," You snorted.
Shindō chuckled softly before kissing your cheek, "I'm gonna go get Makoto dressed, so that you can get dressed in peace." Chihiro had been watching the two of you attentively, pouting when she hadn't been told anything to do. You kissed her forehead, "You can go watch your cartoons while we get ready, sweetheart."
Almost instantly, her scrunched up frown was gone and she ran over to the TV. You made your way up to the master bedroom, picking out your pencil skirt and white button-up. Your hero suit was at your office for the most part and the majority of your work today consisted of papers and a meeting or two.
"You look cute," Shindō opened the door, smiling slyly. You huffed, fixing one of your earrings as you continued to stare at yourself in the mirror. "Of course I look cute, I always look cute." He let out a sigh at that, wrapping his arms around your waist so his chest brushed against your back. "That's my girl," He chuckled softly, your cheeks heating up at the sound.
No matter how many years you were together for, his little gestures never failed to make you flustered. "I thought you were getting Makoto ready," You mumbled, glancing at yourself in the mirror once more only to see Shindō reaching over to fix the position of your necklace, his fingers dangerously close to your cleavage.
"He's not fussy; he's watching cartoons with Chihiro right now," His voice grew quieter and quieter.
"Yō, no." You smacked away his hand, looking disapprovingly at him. Unlike him, you had some important meetings to attend to and there was no way they were going to be postponed. He pouted at you, looking like a kicked puppy. "Fine," The male huffed, rolling his eyes as he followed you out of the bedroom.
However, just as you were about to go down the stairs, he pulled you by your waist once more, his chest pressing against your back once more. "You're going to have to make up that little 'no' tonight, slut." Your face burst into a shade of red and you swallowed harshly, quickly brushing back some of your hair.
"Sh-Shush, we have to drop off the kids."
"Mhm, whatever you say, darling."
