EIJIRO, LIKE ANY SEVENTEEN-YEAR-OLD BOY, couldn't keep his eyes off of her. From the small little smiles, she'd share with her friends, to the inside jokes that'd make her laugh so hard that she'd wheeze. It was inevitable to say that he loved her, but his confession would be just as believable as the next guy.

Y/n was everyone's dream girlfriend, if not, friend. She was sweet, curious, and overall adorable. She wasn't afraid to get her hands dirty when it came to sports, holding a strong dislike against physical activity, but especially enjoying competitions. "You're staring again," Denki reminded, walking alongside him in the large academy.

Ochaco, Y/n's best friend, must've said something hilarious because her giggles sounded from her lips and all the way to where Eijiro stood helplessly. "Man up and ask her out," Sero gave him a look, lightly jabbing him in the ribs as his best friend hissed. Kirishima's eyes squinted at him, the boy rubbing the spot he got hit.

"I know you two are looking out for me and all, but don't be so obvious." He said through gritted teeth, watching as the girls returned, conversing about something else. It didn't make much sense until Ochaco approached him with a small note, her number written on it. "Since we're paired for that project, you can call me to work on it later. Yeah?"

Eijiro nodded slowly, watching as the girl skipped away and back to Y/n's side. This time, Eijiro's heart sped up rapidly, catching his name in the conversation. Jiro, a girl at the other side of Y/n spoke up with a soft chuckle, "Coming after Y/n's man now, huh?" Sero watched them walk away, a red Y/n telling her friends to shut up and squeaking when her eyes met Eijiro's.

Flatly, he glanced at Eijiro and patted him on the back, reminding him that they still had to get to their next class. "She likes you, dude." Eijiro shook his head, books still in his arms as he chewed on his bottom lip and his eyebrows scrunched together. With a soft sigh, he shared a look with his best friend. "No, she doesn't."

Jiro chirped from behind them, a grape soda in her hand. "Actually, she does." The two spun around, gaping at the girl who had gone completely silent. Denki spoke up first, stuttering. "Jiro what the hell? How'd you do that? Fuckin' wizard or something. . . " She snorted, the beverage still grasped in her fingers. "It's called walking,"

Glancing at Eijiro, she smiled. "She's been head over heels for you since you were like fourteen, dude. You guys went to middle school together, right? She keeps calling you adorable and shit, we're tired of hearing it at this point. Do us all a favor, Eijiro, and ask her out." With a cool peace sign, the girl casually strolled off to catch up with her friends.

The bell rang, alarming Eijiro, Denki, and Sero as they sped off to class, yelling and blaming each other relentlessly. Hours passed, school ending as nearly every student went off on their own to find their friends. "C'mon, it isn't manly to avoid asking her out." Sero joked with a shove, huffing. Eijiro rolled his eyes, shoving him back and knocking him into Y/n.

The girl let out a small yelp, her right side hitting the lockers as the books in her arms spilled to the floor. "No! I just finished organizing those!" She whined quietly, beginning to pick them up instantly. Sero knelt down as well, Eijiro following him shortly after as Y/n looked up and gave them some bright smiles. "Thanks, you two."

They just nodded, Sero being casual enough not to say a word while Eijiro could barely utter out a word. Standing up, she collected the last of her papers. "You two are always together, huh?" She pointed to them correspondingly with a small grin. Sero nodded as Eijiro coughed and managed to nod in reply.

"Cool, cool. I owe you a lot, for this, I mean." Y/n held up the pile in her arms, glad that they slightly helped her put them in the manila folders, even if they happened to be wrong. Sero smiled with a small hum, smacking his best friend across the head and making Y/n jolt at the action. "J-Jesus, you didn't have to do that. . . "

Sero shrugged, "He deserved it." Waving, he walked off and left his best friend in the dust as he waited by the gate. Y/n awkwardly bounced on her heels, a shy smile on her lips. "U-Um, I guess I should head home. Thank you, again." With a small squeak, she attempted to scurry off, but Kirishima stopped her.

Halfway out the door, Eijiro called after her. "H-Hey, Y/n!" Spinning around, her e/c eyes locked onto his red ones. "Yeah?" He tilted his head, unknowing about where the surge of confidence came from but appreciating it nonetheless. "How about you and me get ice cream tomorrow?"

She nodded, pink dusting her cheeks as she giggled. "Sure, Eiji."
