Help, I lost myself again
But I remember you
Don't come back, it won't end well
But I wish you'd tell me too

Y/N INHALED SHARPLY, her eyes flitting to Eijiro briefly. Her brother had his head tilted down, tears dropping his eyes. It was hard to tell what was dampening the ground underneath them though as a storm rolled on in the background. She slowly reached for his hand, watching as he gently let her curl his fingers over his, squeezing his hand reassuringly.

He hiccuped at the action, eyes flitting from the casket to the ground, and then to his sister. Here he was, bawling his eyes out when his little sister was the one who was probably in the most pain. Bakugo had left them; the both of them. "I'm sorry I shouldn't be—" His voice was rough as he apologized and Y/n quickly shook her head.

"Please don't. . . please don't apologize. Trying to comfort you is the only thing keeping me from falling apart too," Her tone was hoarse as her voice cracked in between her words. Eijiro looked at her with a teary gaze before wrapping his arms around her, pulling her close to him as her head rested against his chest.

Our love is six feet under
I can't help but wonder
If our grave was watered by the rain
Would roses bloom?
Could roses bloom
Again?

Y/n looked at the photo set on her nightstand. Her brother was fast asleep in the guest room since they had decided they were both too busy grieving to care for themselves; they had a better shot of healing if they stuck together. She glanced at the picture and then back at the box that sat next to her.

It was supposed to contain Katsuki's belongings. Or rather, whatever they could get from his. . . Y/n shuddered at the thought, squeezing her eyes shut. She didn't have to look in the box to know that there was a ring in there; they had talked about getting married for so long. He had looked so excited.

It was hard to tell when he was excited, but Y/n didn't have to stare at him to see it. She could hear it in the way he responded or the way his laptop always clicked when she brought up marriage. He was looking at rings. He was always looking at rings. Y/n choked on a sob, keeling over as she pushed her hair back.

Unfortunately, their forever never came.

Retrace my lips
Erase your touch
It's all too much for me
Blow away
Like smoke in air
How can you die carelessly?

Bakugo was reckless. Yet, he was always selfless. To anyone else, based on his words and his attitude, they would say that they had never met someone so cocky. However, to everyone close and to the people he's saved, he was anything but. Bakugo wouldn't waste a second when it came to saving someone else's life.

He was selfless to a fault and his recklessness didn't help. A building could be on fire and he'd still blast his way through all the floors to save someone that was already on the brink of death. It didn't matter for his ego; the feeling of being able to be considered a 'hero' was enough to satisfy him.

Still though, that burning passion, that reckless affinity of caring for others is what costed him in the end. After all, his disregard for himself and the need to rescue others can save anyone else's life. However, it doesn't spare his own.

Our love is six feet under
I can't help but wonder
If our grave was watered by the rain
Would roses bloom?
Could roses bloom?
