Chapter 61: Something had to be done

Me and Daryl had already started our trip back to Alexandria. "So honest opinion.. how was it" Daryl said grabbing my hand. "Your stupid" I said rolling my eyes. "You liked it didn't you" he said laughing a little. "You are one horny bastard sometimes Daryl Dixon" I said looking at him. "Yeah well you still love me so" he said looking ahead of us. "That's right" I said laughing. 

We made it back and the gate immediately opened. I saw Spencer was on gate watch. I looked at Daryl and he smirked. After Spencer shut the gate Daryl looked around. "Kass we should really talk about this sometime" he called out. Daryl grabbed my waist and backed me up against the gate. He connected his lips against my neck and I looked at Spencer. He looked really uncomfortable. Daryl pulled away and grabbed my hand. We both turned around to flip him off. We turned back around and walked back to our house. It was really weird to say "our house" or "home" because we never thought we would get to say that. We walked in and realized it was about noon. "I should probably change now" I said rolling my eyes. "And why's that" Daryl asked. "Hmm I don't know maybe cause you developed a new kink that involved me partially pissing myself" I said laughing at him. Daryl walked over and sat on the couch. "I don't know what your talking about" he said sarcastically. "Oh really" I said walking over to him and sitting on his lap. He simply shrugged and put his hands on my thighs. "Well because of you and your kinks I need to go change" I said laughing. "Still don't know what your talking about" he joked. "I leaned forward and kissed him. After a few seconds I pulled away and got up. He got up and followed me in the room. "And what do you think your doing" I asked as we got there. "Nothing much" he said sitting on the bed. I rolled my eyes and grabbed a pair of shorts and a new shirt. I took my previous one off and walked over to Daryl. He sat up and grabbed my waist pulling my on top of him. "You know you are a very awkward top" he said jokingly. "Yeah I got that hint when I was 14" I said laughing. He then leaned forward and kissed me. After he pulled away I got an idea. I grabbed his hand and led him to the bathroom. "And I'm the horny one" he said sarcastically. "Who said I was horny. I am however going to take a shower and if you want to you are free to join" I said wrapping my arms around him. I watched as he bit his bottom lip and looked down my body. I felt his hands unstrap my bra and take it off. He took his shirt off and I turned the shower on. We both got fully undressed and got in the shower. He put his hands on my waist and I wrapped my arms around his neck.

After our shower we both were pretty tired so we decided to take a nap. I rolled over and he wrapped an arm around me. At this point I was on the verge of waking up and wanted to let him sleep. I carefully got free from him and walked to the bathroom. I put up my hair and decided to go for a walk. However it wasn't long before I heard someone. I turned and saw Daryl. "Where a off to" he said grabbing my hand. "Just wanted to go for a walk. Didn't want to wake you up" I said looking over at him. "Well it was pretty obvious when I rolled over and there was nothing next to me" he said walking with me. I slightly laughed at his remark but we kept walking. 

We were on our way home when we heard a window break. We both ran towards the sound and saw Rick and Pete both fighting in the middle of the street. Jessie came out of the house and was freaking out. I let go of Daryl's hand and ran over to her. "What happened" I asked looking back at Rick and Pete. "They just started screaming at each other." she said in between sobs. She then walked up to them to try to pull Pete off Rick and Pete swung his hand back and hit her. She fell back and I fell to her side. "Rick" I heard Daryl yell. I looked back and saw Carl got hit by Rick. I figured it was an accident but I was still trying to calm Jessie down. "Rick enough" Deanna yelled. "Or what" Rick said pulling out a gun. "You gonna kick me out" he said pointing it at different people. "Rick put down the gun" Deanna said calmly. "You all are weak. You all are going to die because you aren't fit for this world. You need to be. And we can help you guys. I am not going to just stand by and watch it happen. If you don't fight you die. I'm not going to just stand by and-" he said before getting knocked out by Michonne. We were all in shock with what happened. I walked away from Jessie cause she was trying to talk to Pete. I went back to Daryl. "Hey sorry to run but Aaron wants me to help him with something" Daryl said grabbing my hand. "Okay see you when you get back" I said smiling. He leaned forward and kissed me before following Aaron away. I walked back to the house and felt Carl following me. "Do you need something kid" I asked confused. "Can I come talk to you for a while" he asked. "Of course" I said smiling. We both walked back to my house and we went to the kitchen. I handed him a water and stood in front of him. "So what's up" I asked him. "Uh well I think Ron is mad at me" he started off my saying. "Why is that" I asked taking a drink from my water bottle. "Well me and Enid have become closer friends and Ron just seems to be avoiding me." he said looking around. "Well you guys are teenagers. Most likely he has a thing for Enid. He will come around. And if he doesn't then just ignore it" I said smiling. "Thank you. Sorry but I really should be getting back. I am supposed to be watching Judith" Carl said leaving. I heard him open the door. "Uh Kass Spencer is here for you" he yelled out. "oh my fucking god" I muttered. "Send him in here" I called back. I watched Spencer walk threw my house. "What could you possibly want" I asked leaning against the counter. "You need to believe me. If you and Daryl stay they way you have been then you are going to end up like Jessie. It is going to happen." he said. All I wanted to do was kill his dumbass right then and there. "Ok I am sick of this. Do you want the truth" I asked. He nodded and I took a deep breath. "Alright. I was a mother and I was taking my kid to school and saw her teacher slaughter a group of kids. Then that same teacher tried to kill me. Me and my husband at the time left and we ended up with Ricks group. Me and Daryl became friends and a month later my daughter was killed. Then my husband started to hit me. Just like Pete is doing with Jessie. I was almost raped 3 different times. I lost my sister. I have tried to commit suicide on a countless number of times so don't you dare tell me that if I stay with Daryl I will end up like Jessie. Daryl is the only reason I am standing right here right now talking to your dumbass. So leave me the hell alone and get out of my house" I said pointing at the door. He hesitantly walked out and I leaned back over the counter. There was another knock on the door and I was really hoping it wasn't him again. It wasn't this time it was Maggie. "Hey are you ok" she said. I nodded and looked down. "Alright anyway Deanna is holding a meeting tonight to talk about the whole Rick situation." she said. "Ok I will be there" I said nodding. She simply nodded and left. I walked back to the kitchen and leaned over the counter.
