We Will Survive Together

Chapter 40: No matter what you say I know they are out there.

Maggie's POV: 

I got separated from Glenn and Beth. I have no idea where they went. I put Glenn on the evacuation bus. However I couldn't see where Beth went. I needed to find them both. I was with Sasha and Bob. Sasha wanted to find Tyreese. While running Bob got shot by one of the Governors men. I didn't know how Beth was holding up after everything happened. "We need to find that bus" I said walking through the woods. "What we need is to stop and rest." Sasha said. I heard them both stop. I stopped as well and took a drink of my water. Sasha examined Bob's shoulder where he had been shot. "Is there and exit wound coming out from the back of my shoulder" he asked. "Yeah" Sasha responded after checking. "Good we can treat it then" Bob panted out. "We keep moving" I said turning back around. "Maggie we need to stop. They are most likely dead" Sasha said. I stopped. "They are out there and if Glenn stayed on the bus then he is with the others who made it out" I said not turning. I walked away and they followed. I was looking for any signs of him then I saw it. I saw the bus. I sprinted towards it but was shocked by what I saw. It was full of walkers. Now I hoped he wasn't on the bus. "Oh god" Sasha mumbled as they got there. "You two open the door and only let one out at a time. I stand her so I can see there face. I need to know if he is on there" I said. We did just that until they couldn't keep them all from flooding out. We took out each and everyone of them. It was over in a few minutes. Thankfully Glenn wasn't one of the walkers. I got on the bus just to check. There was a walker that had the same colored hair as him. But it wasn't him. We left the bus and down the road we saw a sign for Terminus. "We need to stop" Sasha said. "No if he saw one of these signs he would go there looking for me looking for him" I said studying the map that was on the sign. "We set up camp for the night over there" Sasha said pointing to a clearing. I nodded and we laid down. Not long later we all fell asleep. But I couldn't sleep peacefully. I got up and left a note. I had to find Glenn.

After walking for a while I saw another Terminus sign bolted on to a metal generator box. Then there was a walker coming. I figured I could use the blood and wright some type of sign for him to go there. I took out the walker and did just that. Then I kept going. I kept walking until I found a small town. Their was another space for me to wright something but no walker in sight. I walked to the town but found more then I wanted. I blended in with some dead walker bodies and waited for them to clear out. I didn't even realize I fell asleep. 

I woke up to the sound of glass falling and breaking. I looked up and saw Sasha looking at me. Then the walkers came back. She ran down to me and we were now back to back fighting them off. After we were done I noticed that Bob wasn't with her. "Where is he" I said. "Out looking for you followed the tracks" She said. "I'm sorry for leaving I just need to find them" I said turning to look at her. "I understand now. I get it. I want to find my brother to" Sasha said pulling me into a hug. Then we were off to get back to Bob. After we caught up to him we had a small reunion then we continued the walk along the tracks. I knew we were going to find Tyreese, Glenn, Beth, everyone. I just didn't know when.
