I woke up but it wasn't like I expected. It hurt to move to fast. It hurt to run. To walk. To breath. "Oh fuck" I said falling to the ground after trying to stand up. I heard Daryl get up and walk over to me. "What the hell did you do" he said falling to my side. "I don't know everything just hurts" I said sitting up against the bed. "Well we don't have a doctor other than Rosita right now. And Maggie's doctor at Hilltop was brought to the Sanctuary and can't get out any time soon." he said. "No need for a doctor. I already know what it is" I said slowing getting back on the bed. "Well what is it" he said sitting next to me. "I am over working my body. I hate to say it but I need to take a break. I don't know for how long. Same thing happened when I was pregnant with Cleo except I was out with friends every night running the streets. Not killing every thing that comes within three feet of me. This one might be worse." I said I could see him register it all. "Well what happens if you didn't stop" he asked. "I could lose the baby" I said. "Okay. Your done. Your not fighting anymore" he said standing up. "What" I said sitting up but quickly laying back down. "No I'm not gonna let you risk our childs life and your life to fight in this stupid ass war. No way" he said. "Daryl it only lasts up to a month" I said. "I don't care. I told you from the start that you going out there and fighting. Running. Doing all the shit you have been doing was a bad idea. I am not going to lose you and potentially the baby because you want to continue to fight. I'm going to Rick and telling him that your out" he said getting dressed. "Well what if something changes" I said. "Then you can help out inside the walls. Your not fighting anymore" he said leaving. I couldn't argue it. He was right. But the fact that I have to lay here in bed kills me. I laid back and almost immediately fell back asleep.

Daryl's POV:

I was on my way to Ricks house when I passed him on the street. "Your up early" he said. "Yeah came to find you. I wanted to tell you that Kass wont be fighting in the war anymore. She is overworking her body and if she continues to run and fight and stuff she could lose the baby and possibly die herself." I said. He nodded. "Okay. I know that must be a lot of information for Kass to take in" he said. "Yeah. She really didn't want to stop fighting. But it's for the best" I said. "Your right. Hey if you don't mind every now and then I can send Carl over there. Get her stuff while we are out. Give her someone to talk to" Rick said. "Yeah that would be fine" I said. "Okay. Now I was on my way over to your house. What if we broke threw the Sanctuary wall. Got the walkers inside the place. Make them have to use their ammo on the walkers. Make it basically impossible for them to get out. Then we take it over" Rick said. "Sounds like a plan. I can take Michonne, Rosita, and Tara. I heard they were thinking of a way to attack from the inside" I said. "Okay." Rick said walking away.

Kass's POV:

I slowly woke up and sat up. I looked around the empty bedroom and hated that Daryl was right. I knew he called me off of all battles by now. I knew that no matter what I said no one was going to let me fight now. I tried to get up so I could get dressed but the pain came back. "Fuck" I mumbled laying back. "Kass" I heard Carl yell. "I'm up here" I yelled back. He came upstairs and he had blood all on the back of his flannel. "Holy shit are you okay" I asked. "Yeah this isn't my blood. Don't tell my dad but when me and him were out there we came across someone who was hungry. My dad scared him away and I went back out to find him. I brought him back. He is I set him up a bed in the sewer tunnel and on the way here there were walkers and I tripped. The blood is from a dead deer that I was up against" he said. "Okay" I said. "Daryl and everyone else went out to attack again. Should be back soon" he said. I nodded. "Do you need anything." he asked. "Some clothes would be nice" I said. He nodded and walked over to my closet. He grabbed a random outfit and handed it to me. "Hey uh I wanted to say thank you" he said stopping at the door. "For what" I asked. "Ever since your first day back at the camp. Your were there for me. When my mother and father were off doing something. When Shane went crazy. You always stayed. And I never thanked you. But with this war and what's going on. Any day could be my last. Or your last. I wanted to make sure I at least said thank you before that possibly happens" he said. I looked at him confused. "Yeah anytime. It's what friends are for" I said smiling. "Hey. I'm going to go take a shower real quick and come back." he said. I nodded and he left. I got dressed and wondered where is speech came from.

Carl's POV:

I hated it. I was so stupid. I got home and walked upstairs to my bathroom. I stood in front of the mirror and took off my blood soaked flannel. I slowly took off my shirt and studied the walker bite that had only happened about 30 minutes ago. No fever had kicked in. It was in the same spot as Jim's a few years ago. He took a whole day to get effected. I sighed knowing that my time was going to come to an end.
