Rick had made the choice to turn in Michonne. If it meant everyone else would survive then he was willing to do it. It was a hard choice to know what would happen no matter what the decision was but he might have made the right one. It was early the next morning and I was helping Carol with the laundry. As I was walking back to the room we did laundry in I saw Merle tearing up a mattress. "Kass right" he said standing up and leaning over the railing from the top. "Yeah. What do you want Merle" I said impatiently as I waited for him to stop talking. "You and Daryl are together right" he said looking down at me. "Yeah" I said slightly annoyed. I still didn't fully trust Merle considering he kidnapped me and Glenn. "Well I just wanted to tell you that I am sorry for kidnapping you to. If I had known you and Daryl were together I would have never put you through that." he said still looking down at me. "And what about Glenn. He has no point of view in me and your brothers relationship but you had no problem taking him right" I said looking up at him. He didn't say anything. "Listen I will put up with you for the sake of Daryl. But we are not friends. Not after the man that you gave me to. After what he did. That can never change." I said turning to walk away. "I know what he did. Mark. Daryl told me. Said when he found out he wanted to go kill all of his men himself. Then he told me that if I would have left you and that Chinese kid alone it would have never happened" he said. It didn't change how I felt. "He's Korean" I said walking back to where Carol was.

2 hours later:

I was walking along the fence and taking out some of the walkers that were their. That was when Rick came running over to me. "Have you seen Michonne and Merle" he said out of breath. "I saw Merle about 2 hours ago but haven't seen either since. Why what happened" I asked sitting the metal bar against the fence. "I messed up. I told him to take her to Philip but I am starting to think it was a trap" he said looking outside. Daryl came running down to where we were. "Cant find either of them anywhere" Daryl said looking around. "Can you two please go find them before it is to late" Rick said looking at both of us. "Yeah" Daryl said before nodding towards the fence. I already had my gun and knife so we started running in the direction they went. We took small breaks every few minutes or so but we tried to run most of it. Daryl was good at tracking so that was a big help. "After we find them. I am gonna teach you how to track" Daryl said as we slowed down to walk a little. "Why" I asked taking a small drink of my water. "So if something happens to me the group still has a tracker" he said still looking around at the dirt. "Daryl nothing is going to happen to you for a long time" I said not wanting to think about what I would do if I lost Daryl. "Lets hope that. I mean lets face it I won't be around forever" Daryl said stopping and taking a drink from his water. "Don't say that" I said looking straight into his eyes. "Why not" he said putting the bottle back in the bag. "Because I don't want to think about my life without you. Not yet at least" I said not looking away. "What if I die tomorrow" Daryl said looking down at me. I let my mind process that. I turned and started to walk away. "Kass stop. What is going on you aren't like this" Daryl said grabbing my arm. "After Cleo, I didn't think I could live with that. I tried to give up multiple times. You stopped me. Then Jacob turned on me and that made me hate myself even more. Then I found you. Daryl if I lost you tomorrow. I wouldn't be able to live with that. Hell that day will come. I know it will. I don't want it to but death is death. I just want you to stay as long as possible. I wouldn't be able to live without you" I said while accidently letting a tear fall down my cheek. Daryl lifted his hand and wiped the tear away with his finger. He stayed quiet but still rested his hand on my face. "Please don't leave. Not yet. Not for a long time" I said as more tears fell. Daryl lifted my chin so he could looking into my eyes. "I won't I promise" he said looking down at me. He pulled me into a hug and held it for a minute. Once he pulled away he lightly kissed my lips. He pulled away and grabbed my hand. We walked like this for a while before Daryl we heard a stick break. He pulled me down and I upholstered my gun. We stayed down before we saw the similar shape of Michonne's katana. We stood up and she was as shocked to see us as we were to see her. "Where is Merle" Daryl said looking at her for anything that may be his. "He let me go. Said he couldn't live with it" Michonne said stopping long enough to tell us exactly the direction he went. Me and Daryl were yet again running in the direction of Merle. While running we found an old saw mill. Their was a Car which matched the description that Michonne gave us. Their were walkers everywhere. We didn't want to get swarmed so I was using my knife. Daryl was using his crossbow and was retrieving his arrows after firing them. We continued walking and we saw a walker eating of one of the dead bodies. It was one of the Governors men. We stopped and looked at it. The walker looked very familiar. The walker slowly lifted its head and I knew instantly who it was. I covered my mouth and dropped my knife. Daryl dropped his crossbow to the ground. It was Merle. Even though I hated him a tear fell from my eyes. I knew how close he and Daryl were and the thought of what was going through his mind killed me. Daryl was pushing the walker version of Merle back. Until he was finally able to stab it. He stabbed it over and over in the head. He was letting out emotions I have never seen. I walked up to him and lightly grabbed his arm and he fell backwards. He was crying. I dropped to my knees and grabbed his hand. I hated seeing him like this. Even though I would have killed Merle before finding out he was Daryl's brother and after what he did to me and Glenn. I knew we had to kill Philip. He had to die.
