In the following weeks, the Iwatobi swim club swam together with the Samezuka swim team, this way, the guys managed to rekindle and strengthen their friendship with Rin, Gou getting back her older brother.

During one of those practices, Rin challenged Haru to a race again, with that, the two kept racing a few times.

"Will they ever stop?" Wondered Gou looking at the two annoyed.

Sitting by the pool, only in a grey one-piece with her legs dipped in the water, Nayna looked over at the other girl.

"Probably if we drain the pool, even then I doubt it." Said Nayna amused, the two girls chuckling.

"What are you two laughing about?" Asked Rin panting as he pulled himself out of the pool.

"Nothing that you have to worry about, onii-chan." Chuckled Gou.

"Now I'm sure that I have to worry." Muttered the male annoyed.

"You should worry only if you're a fish...or if you keep racing Haru like a maniac." Said Nayna with a shrug.

Rin looked at her confused for a moment, then a smirk appeared on his face as he approached the white haired girl.

"Is that a threat?" He asked amused.

"Did it sound like a threat from over there?" She asked smirking too.

"Sure did. Or what? Over there is not a threat anymore?" He asked walking slowing towards her. "It sounds like you want me over here." He grinned as he got at about two steps away from her.

Nayna looked up at him with the corner of her eye, his tall frame towering over her even more as she was sitting, Rin making sure that he looks more imposing as he straightened his back, placing his hands on his hips, water droplets sliding down his defined muscles.

"Oh, from here, the threat is greater." She said amused.

"Jealous I only race Haru?"He grinned leaning over her, getting closer to her face.

"Oh, no. You can have Haru all to yourself in any way you like." She said amused.

"What is that supposed to mean?" He asked a bit confused. "Forget that. What is up with you? Not swimming? Scared you'll lose?"

"Nope. I just don't want to make you cry." She said mockingly getting a giggle from Gou.

"Ha?? Tsk. You're something else." Muttered Rin passing one of his hands through his damp hair. "If you are so sure let's see that happen. One race. 200m butterfly." He said sharply.

"What are you trying to prove? That you are better than a girl? Quite a flex."

"No. I want to show that I am better than you. You are a great swimmer. Prove it." He said leaning over her. "Or what? Are you scared?"

"Of what? You?" She laughed. "Fine." She said getting up. "But don't go cry to Haru after that."

"Don't worry, that won't happen." He said placing his cap and goggles on.

"Sure. Let's hope then that the water of the pool won't get salty." She said smirking as she put on her cap and goggles.

"Cocky, aren't we?" Grinned Rin.

The two got ready on two of the centering starting blocks, everyone else stopping to watch the upcoming race curious.

The two dived in as they heard the whistle from captain Mikoshiba.

"Nayna-chan is already in the lead!" Said Nagisa excited.

"Yes, well, she had no delay in her start. It was actually a perfect start." Said Rei.
