70.Like father like daughter

Looking towards the source of the voice, they saw a tall muscular man slowly walking towards them, his longish orange-red hair flying behind him, bright emerald eyes concentrated on the armchair occupied by Nayna.

The others tensed at the mere presence of the man, his huge built making them all nervous except for Gou who was staring at his arms entranced.

"You never come around those parts... father." Came Nayna's reply.

After her words settled in, a deadly silence fell, slowly, all eyes turned sympatheticly towards Rin who's jaw looked dislocated as it was so dropped.

"It was nice knowing you..." Whispered Sousuke.

At that, Rin shivered, his jaw going back in place, his sharp teeth grinding together as he hissed looking at the man before them then at his petite girlfriend as the two talked.

"How is that even possible?" He gulped.

Suddenly, Nayna got up and went around the sofa, followed by her father, the two entering another room there.

Being left alone, the group relaxed a bit but Rin was still stressed out.

"How will you deal with this?" Asked Sousuke.

"I don't know..." Grumbled Rin.

"Just go for it. What's the worst it can happen?" Said Haruka with a shrug.

"Haru. That's bad advice. That man is Nayna-chan's father. Father's always are protective of their daughters. Did you see him? His all of us put together."

"Makoto..." Growled Rin getting his attention. "You're not helping..."

"S-Sorry..." Mumbled Makoto.

"Maybe you should write down your will, Rin-chan." Said Nagisa.

"Hmmm? What's this? Someone is scared of our king?" Came Kiky's voice.

The brunette sat on the arm of the sofa, leaning on Rin's shoulder.

"A little word of advice." She said with a smirk before leaning closer to his ear. "Don't be a wimp. He expects Nine's partener to be worthy of her." She whispered into his ear before leaning back, patting his back. "But I'm sure you are." She said getting up and walking off.

Rin was about to say something but stopped when he heard the door behind them open, Nayna coming out. With a deep breath, he got up, turning to her but looked surprised around.

"Where's..."

"Ran off as soon as I said something about his job not being done." She said with a shrug approaching Rin, taking his hand. "Don't worry, you'll have another chance to make acquaintances with him." She said amused. "You can calm down now." She laughed patting his arm.

Rin let out a deep sigh, not realizing he was holding his breath before looking down at his girlfriend with an apologetic smile.

"Damn, I didn't thought it will be so hard." He laughed nervously, Nayna chuckling too.

"It's late. Probably we should retreat for the day." She said looking at him then at the others.

They all nodded, getting up and going towards the stairs.

Nayna led Rin to her room, the male looking around surprised.

"Something wrong?" She asked confused.

"No. It's just... I was expecting something else from your room..." He muttered looking around the room that looked mostly like a normal hotel room except for the large shelf of books with a fireplace on the left wall while close to the right wall was a spiral staircase going down.

"If you don't like it, we could go to another room."

"No. No. That's not... Uhm... Where does the stairs go to?"

"My library." She said with a shrug, looking at him amused before she made her way towards him, slowly, like a feline approaching it's pray.

Once before him, she got on her tiptoes, tugging on his arm to get lower only for Rin to remain stiff.

"What worries you so much?"

Suddenly, Rin started flayling his arms around, motioning to the door nervously until Nayna cupped his cheeks.

"Calm down. Talk."

"That friend of yours can hear us. And your father ..." He whispered.

Nayna looked at him surprised before she chuckled.

"Calm down. My father left and this room and my library are soundproof." She said amused.

Hearing that, Rin looked at her surprised before he grinned, leaning to her level, capturing her lips in a heated kiss that she returned happily.

Sorry for the short chapter. Lately I got into a writer's block and forgot my ideas that I wanted to write.

Also, I might try to start a book of oneshots so please leave some ideas you would like to hear.
