43.Time Part 2

June 18 - Wednesday

Next morning, everyone was getting ready for the day.

As he was done, Rin made his way to Nayna's room to get her only to get no answer to his knocks. He tried the door only to be locked. Confused, he approached his ear to the wooden door, trying to hear any noise.

"She's already downstairs." Said Haru suddenly from behind Rin.

Rin jolted up and turned to him.

"What?"

"She went with Gou earlier out to buy some things."

"Oh..." Muttered Rin, trying to hide his disappointment.

Everyone met down to the dinning area where Rin made a round call, the only ones missing being the girls.

Rin eyed around for them but soon he sighed, giving up as he sat at a table with Sousuke and started to eat.

"What's up with you?" Asked Sousuke looking unfazed at the redhead who was mostly rolling his food on his plate.

"Do you think Nayna's mad at me?" Asked Rin looking bored at his plate.

"What gave you that idea?" Asked Sousuke confused.

"'Cause since yesterday at lunch, she didn't really talk to me..."

"More like she couldn't. I mean the Iwatobi guys kept dragging her off with them. Now Gou does it. I doubt it has anything to do with you."

After breakfast, they started their morning jog, Nayna finally joining them only to make the jogging harder for the guys, so when the jog was over, the guys were mostly spent.

"Captain..." Muttered one of the Samezuka guys glaring at Rin while trying to get his breath.

"You better solve whatever problem you have with the little demon but better do it fast." Said another one.

"Or she's gonna kill us." Whimpered another.

"Quit whining. It's just a little harder training, big deal. I agree with her that we gotta step up a bit on those last few days." Rin said in his usual captain tone before he frowned annoyed. "What makes you think it's my fault!?" He growled.

"Since you two are dating and all that and the fact that suddenly you went from lovey dovey to complete ice block I think-"

"Ice block? What the hell man? Nothing like that is happening. We're fine if you're so interested, and I agree with her method." He said sternly.

When his teammates went away he turned to scan the area for the white haired girl. He might agree with her method but that didn't mean he understood what got her so harsh all of a sudden.

As he saw her going into the woman's changing rooms, knowing that no one else was in there, he went in after her.

"Babe, talk to me." He said behind her.

She flinched at his voice then turned.

"About what?"

"Whatever is bothering you."

"Nothing is bothering me."

"Bull." He coughed before approaching her, placing his hands on her shoulders. "I know there is something. Otherwise you wouldn't avoid me. So stop being a child and-"

"I'm not a child! So what about you stop treating me like one!?"

Rin looked surprised at her outburst.

"Ever since you found out I'm only 16 you've been acting differently towards me." She said looking to the ground. "S-So I thought... If...if we have so much time...I should give you some time with your-" She said but couldn't finish as Rin engulfed her in a tight hug.
