Next day, the Iwatobi swim club members met at their pool waiting for new members but no luck.
"Told you that was a bad show..." Said Nayna unimpressed.
"You should have come to help! You ditched us!" Said Gou annoyed.
"Sorry, sorry. I just had better things to do." She said amused.
"You can be such-" Pouted Gou.
"Besides, I did say that I'd only compete once. I'm here for you to have your numbers of members higher so..."
"Wha? You don't want to compete anymore? But you're so good! You have to. Otherwise what will you do for the team?"
Nayna thought for a second then it clicked.
"What about trainer. I can help with that much."
"But I took over that too." Said Gou.
"Hm? You want them to do better, right?" Asked Nayna and Gou nodded. "Then let someone with experience in this domain to take care of it."
"You can be so mean sometimes!!" Shouted Gou .
"I'm not. Just saying things how they are. If it sounds mean... well... that's life." She said with a shrug but felt her phone buzzing in her bag.
Ignoring Gou's ranting at her, Nayna took out her phone and read the message.
"Huh? What's up?" Asked Gou suddenly stopping and staring at her phone.
"Nothing. Gotta go." She said as she turned and left.

At the Samezuka's swim club, compared to Iwatobi's, there were a lot of new faces.
Rin, as the new captain started their instruction.
"In order to join our swim club, your time needs to be better than the Samezuka standard. We'll time you now, so swim using your fastest stroke." Said Rin as he stood before them.
"Okay." They all shouted turning to get ready.
"You guys sure got a lot of newbies." Said Nayna approaching Rin.
Rin turned to her, his bored expression lighting up a bit.
"Yeah... But I don't know how many of them will make the cut."
"I wouldn't worry about that. Do you?"
"Not really. Thanks for coming. I appreciate the help." He said with a small smile.
"Sure thing, captain~" She said amused.
"Please, don't call me that." He said ticked off.
"Someone woke up on the wrong side." She said confused. "So, how may I help?" She asked but Rin was watching something behind her, suddenly a guy ran behind her almost knocking her off if Rin didn't put his arm around her pulling her against him.
"Oi! No running by the pool!" He shouted a bit annoyed before looking down at the girl against his side, his features softening again. "Sorry. Those fisrt-years' are over excited."
"It's fine..." She muttered trying to hide her blush somehow, her hand not really listening to her command to detach itself from feeling the tight muscles of Rin's abdomen. Finally, as she gathered her strengths to step back, she opened her mouth. "So... about the help."
"Uh, yeah." He said letting go of her. "You got a good eye. Maybe you could help with making a better decision with the recruitment than just the time standard."
