35.After all...

Saturday rolled around once more. Nayna went out to make some grocery shopping for the evening, thinking of what would be the best to cook for dinner. As she was walking through the isles her phone started to vibrate in her pocket. She pulled it out seeing on the screen the photo of her boyfriend. With a smile she answered happily.

"Hey. I was just thinking of what to do for dinner." She said quickly.

*Yeah, uh-* Muttered Rin only for her to cut him off.

"I know you like your meat so I was thinking of stake and-" She said looking on the shelves.

*I'd love that... B-but... Look... Something came up and I can't leave campus...* She heard him say followed by a sigh.

"What? Why? What happened?" She asked worried.

*An accident at the pool and-*

"Are you alright? Did someone got injured?" She asked quickly worried.

*No. Everyone is fine... Someone messed up the filtration system and now we're all grounded until the culprit is found.*

"Oh... Uhm...I see..." She said relaxing but remembering he isn't coming anymore soured her mood.

*Sorry... I'll make it up to you. I promise. Next Saturday to my dorm room. What do you say?*

"It's a date then..." She said trying to sound more happy than she actually was.

*Nayna, are you alright?* He asked, not getting fooled by her try to cover up her disappointment.

"I'm fine. Don't worry." She said with a laugh hoping he'll buy it.

*Alright. See ya.* He said softly before hanging up.

(At the Samezuka dorms)

Rin hang up with a heavy sigh dropping his phone carelessly on his bunk before he sat on the side of the mattress, his head down as he passed his hands through his red locks before covering his face.

"Why are you lying to her?" Sousuke suddenly asked.

Rin flinched at his best friend's voice, looking up at the teal eyed male guiltily before he looked at his feet again.

"It's not a lie. The system got busted."

"Yeah, but no one interdicted us to leave the campus." Frowned Sousuke.

"I...I don't know if I can do this, Sousuke." He breathed.

"Do what? Have dinner with your girlfriend?" Asked Sousuke sitting beside Rin on his bed.

"The dinner it's not the problem! It's what's after dinner..." He muttered.

"What? I thought you slept with her already."

"Yeah. Sleep sleep...not...you know..." Said the redhead embarrassed.

"Rin, what exactly are you worried about?"

"Everything!" Rin yelled, jumping to his feet. "I mean she had a boyfriend before me! What if I'm not as good as that guy? What if I'm small? I mean it does matter, right? If she'll laugh or dump me for it. I don't think I could take it. What if I can't make her feel good?! I have no idea how to do it! I don't want to disappoint her!" He ranted as he paced around.

Sousuke looked at his friend surprised by his outburst and ranting before he chuckled.

"Rin, do you have performance fright? She doesn't care about all that. Besides, she's into medical stuff, she-"
