Next morning, Rin slowly woke up with a grunt as the light infiltrating the room hit his closed eyes. Frowning, he turned around only to bump into the warm form of Nayna's body, curled up under the covers. His hand slowly went around her, pulling her against his chest but at the contact with the bare skin of her stomach he remembered their night. A smile crept on his face only to gasp as he remembered one little detail they forgot last night.

He sat up, looking at the nightstand on his side where a few small packs were. Seeing them, his breath hitched, feeling his heart rate quicken, cold beads of sweat gathering on his skin.

Feeling the mattress moving beside her, Nayna stirred awake. Cracking lazily one eye open, she saw Rin sitting on the side of the bed, his head down, face hidden by his red hair. Worried she pulled herself up lazily, sleep trying to drag her back down.

"Rin?" She mumbled, her voice groggy.

The redhead flinched at her voice, she could see he turned his head away.

"Morning." He mumbled.

"M-morning... What's wrong?"

"Nothing." He muttered about to get up only to stop as she grabbed his hand.

"Rin. I know something is wrong. Talk to me. Please." She said, her voice filled with concern.

"What have you done, Nayna..." He mumbled, sitting back on the side of the bed, rubbing his face with his hands, trying to wash away his frustration.

"What?" She asked confused.

"Nayna...are you really on the pill?"

"Now that is a strange question."

"It's not funny, Nayna!" He bursted standing up sharply, turning to her. "We've been at it like rabbits! A lot of times lately without protection because you said you are on the pill! But this morning I looked through your bathroom, kitchen, everywhere and no sign of any pills. Anything!"

"Rin, calm down."

"I can't just calm down! You could be pregnant for all we know! We're both too young! We both have careers ahead of us to think about! What the hell are we gonna do? Why would you do this?!" He yelled, slowly, his voice quivering from the fear and anger.

"Rin." She sighed. "It's not how you think... Look... I told you already that I'm a wolf, right?"

"So what are you gonna say? You're gonna pop seven or what?" He said still frustrated.

"Actually, the most is four. I didn't want to tell you this because it may seem weird or...hard to explain...But we kind of have a built in protection." She said awkwardly.

"Ha~?" Muttered Rin, deadpanned looking at her.

"Our tubes are locked most of the time...they are open only about two or three times per year when we get into heat..." She explained.

"Wait...what?" He muttered confused. "So...No risk of-"

"Unless I'm in heat, no chances of little Matsuokas running around." She said amused.

Rin looked at her awkwardly.

"Why didn't you tell me this sooner?"

"Well, it hasn't been too long since I told you what I am. I didn't want to weird you out even more so soon."

"So...we..."

"We're safe." She chuckled, amused of the look on his face.

Slowly, he sat back on the bed, looking at the floor, processing everything only for Nayna to hug him from the back, resting her head against his shoulder blade.
