87. A birthday to remember

During her walk with Link, Nayna heard her name being called. She didn't have time to turn and look at the person, even though she knew already who it was, she heard footsteps behind her then two strong arms going around her.

"Hey, Babe." She heard her boyfriend's voice by her ear before feeling his lips against her temple.

"Hey to you too." She said with a smile looking up at him.

"Where are you going?" He asked, releasing her from the hug, taking one of her hands in his.

"Home. I just finished walking Link."

"Perfect. Because I really need your help." He said as they walked.

"With what exactly?" She asked, cocking her head.

"Well, this Sunday is Sousuke's birthday." He said with a grin.

"Alright..." She replied, already feeling like she knew what he was about to say.

"And I want to throw him a party."

"And what did you think about?"

"That's the thing. I don't know."

"He's your best friend and you don't know what to do for his party?" She asked.

"Tsk. It's not like that. I want to make it special. Besides... Since next year we'll move to Australia and we won't see each other much anymore. Plus, I know I want one very special thing for his birthday."

"Elaborate." Said the girl, cocking an eyebrow.

"Well..." Said the Redhead looking ahead at the road, awkwardly scratching the back of his head. "I was thinking... Maybe you could invite your friend, Kiky."

Hearing this, Nayna's eyes widened for a second before she squinted at him understanding his plan.

"Oh, so you want to play wingman too." She smirked.

"Maybe... I mean why not. They clearly were into each other while we were at your place."

"True. But how can we make it work?" Thought Nayna out loud, her crimson eyes darting around as she thought of a plan before she snapped her fingers. "I got it. Here's how it's gonna be..."

Soon enough, Monday turned to Friday. Rin entered his dorm room determined.

Upon hearing the door, Sousuke turned his head to greet him with a glance.

"Oi. I hope you don't have plans for the weekend." Said the redhead, his arms crossed over his chest.

Sousuke looked at him confused.

"Uh...Not really. I just want for us to do something fun."

"And that is exactly what we're going to do." Smirked Rin.

"Please don't plan anything crazy again."

"Too late. Pack a bag. We're going on a little adventure."

"-sigh- Shit ...." Muttered the taller male.

In less than an hour, the two, plus Ai and Momo were at the docks waiting. Soon, joining them the Iwatobi swim club.

"Damn it, Rin, I told to not go overboard." Said Sousuke irritated.

"Shut up or I'll throw you overboard. You'll thank me later." Rin said as a boat stopped at their dock, they all going on.

"What did you and Nayna plan again?"

"Can you just calm down and just enjoy? Besides, what gave you the idea that she is into this?"
