Chapter 45

"My love.." i mumbled in between of my sobs.

I felt her sweet embraced while caressing my back.

"Anong ginagawa mo dito, Brienne?" her soft voice melting my heart.

"I-i want to see you.." i'm having a hard time talking because my nose is clogging from too much crying.

She gently push me away from her then tried to wipe away my tears using her one hand.

"Bakit ka umiiyak?" 

"Coz i've been a fool for a long time. Alam ko na Pax. I know now why you avoid me, nag-usap kayo ni Daddy. Anong sinabi niya sayo? Bakit ka pumayag na layuan ako?" i asked with resentment.

She looked away. Dun ko lang napansin na she's with Jerome.

I held her free hand ang squeeze it a bit.

"Let's talk , Love" she's not answering me, not even looking at me.

"Please" i pleaded.

"Wala naman na tayong pag-usapan pa, Brienne" my forehead creased. Didn't anticipate her answer.

"Anong wala? Pax, we have a lot of things to discuss. Why did you avoid me? what did my father told you and why did you obey him?!"

She sighed first before stare at me. 

"Bakit mo ko sinisigawan?" Bigla akong parang naging tuta na pinagalitan kaya umamo.

"I'm sorry. I was driven by my emotion"

"Brienne, Kung anoman yun wala na rin magbabago dahil marami ng nagbago. Marami na nangyari. Kalimutan na lang natin" she pulled her hand from me and started to walk.

I was left shocked and confused so i didn't react immediately.

I looked back at her. I saw her back, Jerome walking beside her.

I came to her immediately, i grab her hand. Nalaglag niya pa ang hawak na coffee.

"Brienne, saan mo 'ko dadalhin? Bitawan mo 'ko." she tried to get away from me but i made sure i have a tight grief from her.

I didn't let go of her until we reached her hotel room.

"Out" i firmly said to Andrea

"Wag kang lalabas!" 

I glared at Andrea, she's nervously went out from the room. I locked it immediately.

"Anak ng.. iniwan talaga ako dito!" she complained, I gave her a smirked.

"My wife, you can't get away from me that easy.." she gave me a death glare that made her look so hot.

"Stop calling me my wife. Nakipag-annul ka na sakin diba?"

Actually, i didn't push the annulment. Hindi ko rin kaya. She's still tied to me but i won't say that, i don't want to use that card to win her back.

"Pax, let's just talk. Tell me everything i need to know." i said calmly.

"Wala ka ng kailangan malaman. Pero kung gusto mong malaman, bakit hindi ang Daddy mo ang tanongin mo? Ayuko ng ma-involve sa inyo, Brienne."

"But that's not possible, Love" i insist.

She's forever be connected to me.

"Brienne, can't you see? Okay na ako. Unti unti na akong bumabangon sa lahat ng pinagdaanan ko sa inyong mag-ama. Please naman, hayaan mo na akong matahimik." her eyes are pleading to me.

How can i say no?

"You're just saying that 'cause you're mad at me. But i'm willing to do everything for you to forgive me." i said trying to save my ass.
