Chapter 32

KAORI BRIENNE OINUMA

"But you need to move on. Gillian.." i called her name and hold her hand.

"I'll help you." i sincerely said.

Ngumiti siya sakin at nagulat ako ng bigla niya akong yakapin. I hugged her back and slowly caress her hair.

"Nararamdaman ko si Will sayo." she whispered.

                                                                    

Since that day, Gillian and I became a good friends.

When i'm with her i forgot my problems for a while. She always wear a smile that can mend the world.

But still, only one person can make me complete. Old pick up line but Pax is like the missing piece of my jigsaw puzzle. I still keep on texting her but i got no response.

Since we met in the airport and i saw with her pilot, we never seen each other again.

"Hoy! Tulala ka na naman hahahaha" Gillian poke my head and laughed.

"Tsk. You're annoying!" i hissed on her.

"Mag-focus ka kasi. Di madali mag bake nuh!" well yeah, nangangawit na ang kamay ko at pinagpapawisan na noo ko but i can't wipe it.

Gillian teaching me how to bake. I'm excited to finish and taste it. I really want to learn then bring it to Pax.

"I think it's okay now." i said after putting the batter into the pan.

"Ipasok mo na sa oven. Set mo 30 minutes." she commanded.

I was thrilled on what will be the taste of it. This is my first time to bake so let's see.

"Titig na titig ka naman dyan. Baka hindi mahiya yan at di maluto. Dito ka na muna, matagal tagal pa yan." aya niya sakin while tapping the high chair beside her.

Naupo naman ako dun at nginitian siya. A smile that saying thank you.

"Alam mo ba, bonding din namin ni Will ang pagbabake o pagluluto ng kung ano ano." i remained in silence. I don't know what to say.

"Pero masaya ako. Masaya ako kasi muli akong nakabalik dito sa bahay. Salamat sa pagsama mo dito." she said and gave me a warm smile.

I dared her to comeback here but she said it's sad to be alone so i came with her and she decided to teach me how to bake.

"Like i told, i will help you to move on." she just smiled sweetly to me and rest her head in my shoulder.

"Kamusta kayo ni Pax?" bigla akong nakaramdam ng nalungkot sa tanong.

"I don't know. She has new but i'm still her wife so i'm holding on that idea." natahimik naman kaming dalawa at ilang sandali lang ay humagalpak siya ng tawa.

"HAHAHA Tae! Di bagay sa atin" she stand up, still laughing and holding her stomach.

"You're crazy." i hissed and shaked my head.

I'm just watching her while she's laughing like there's no tomorrow.

*Ting

We both look each other when finally it's done.

"Here is it now.. Here is it!" i'm so excited.

Natataranta akong kinuha ang pot holder at maingat na nilabas ito.

"Hahahaha ang pangit ng itsura." she teased me. I just snorted

"Wala sa itsura yan. It's about the taste." i defended myself.
