Matt's POV: Once me and Gabby finished eating breakfast, I went to walk towards Severide's room so that I could tell him we are leaving to head to Gabby's mom's place. Looking at him as he sat in bed, I smiled at him. "Hey." Severide then looked at me. "Hey, what's up?" I then smiled at him. "I am just coming to let you know that we are leaving. We are heading to Gabby's mom's place for Christmas Eve." Severide nodded in agreement. "You want me to lock up for you guys?" I smiled. "Yeah, that'd be nice. Easier than having to take out my keys twice. Then, I can make sure that Gabby doesn't slip. Can you also make sure to shovel today? I didn't get a chance. I don't think I'm going to be able to anymore considering I have to take care of Gabby."

Gabby however didn't like the sound of that. "I don't like you calling it taking care of me Matt, can you just say help me with the pregnancy?" Turning around to look at her, I nodded. "Of course. You ready to go?" Gabby nodded and smiled. "Severide, I don't want a dirty appartment when I come home...you make a mess, you better clean it up." I then smiled when she said that. "Be careful on the stairs if you decide to go outside." Gabby nodded and agreed with me as she went to put her hat on before walking outside to head to the car. I then looked at Severide and smiled at him. "We'll be back later. Stella coming over?" Severide then shrugged. "Not sure."

I then sighed and looked at him. "Please don't tell me that you guys are having problems again." He then looked at me and sighed. "I am not sure. I think it's just her time of the month." I nodded. "You can't always blame it on that. Believe me man, you need to work this out with her. You told me that she's the one. I mea, I think you said that once. If you believe that, then you need to get your act together and make sure that you show her that. I speak from experience man. I had to work hard to prove to Gabby that we could make this work. Now, look at us. We are expecting our first child together. Remember, I've been married....you haven't."

Severide then looked at me. "I've been married." I laughed when he said that. "Yeah, I don't think that Vegas married counts when it comes to being married for real. You never had to deal with the financial decisions that comes with being married. The big decisions I am talking about like savings and kids. So trust me when I say this man, you and Stella need to talk about this. You are starting to get to a point where you are serious enough that I can see you marrying her. Remember, I know what I am talking about. But I have to go because we are heading to Gabby's mom's place. Have a good day and take what I said into consideration okay?"

Severide nodded and smiled when I said that. "Have a good day." Waving to him, I smiled when I went to walk over to the door so that I could put my boots on. That's when I saw that Gabby was still there. "You decided not to go outside?" Gabby then looked at me. "I didn't want to risk falling. I am still scared and don't want to jeapordize anything. I don't want to loose this baby or you." I then looked at her and went to grab her hand. Bringing her close to me, I went to rub her arm. "Remember what I said Gabby, you are never going to loose me ever again. I am your husband today, tomorrow and forever." Gabby smiled when I said that and nodded.

Once I finished putting my boots on, I went to step close to her and put my hands on her hips before kissing her softly. "Forever." Gabby smiled when I did that before going to put her hands on my chest. Holding each other close, we couldn't help but smile at each other because that was how in love with each other we are. This time around, I just knew that we were going to be forever. I couldn't see this not being right. "Now listen, let's get going okay?" Gabby nodded and agreed with me as I went to grab her hand. Intertwining our fingers, I heard Severide behind me. "Here, I got the door." I nodded when he said that and smiled. "Thanks."

Going to help Gabby outside, I smiled as she held onto me tight because she was scared of slipping. Severide then looked at us. "You guys be safe and have a good day." Turning to look at him, I just glared at him. "Not the time man. She's scared of the slippery steps." Severide then nodded, knowing that he screwed up. I then went to help  Gabby down and she let out a deep breath when she was down the stairs. "Sorry I was scared." I nodded and went to wrap my arm around her. "Believe me when I say this babe, you never have to apologize for being scared. I am here to help you for that exact reason." Gabby smiled when I said that, leading her to my pickup.

Once we were at my pickup, I went to open her door and helped her in. Gabby smiled when I did that before going to buckle up. Meanwhile, I walked around the car and looked at her. "We just have to make a stop on the way." Gabby then turned to look at me. "I am at least going to get your mom some flowers for Christmas." Gabby nodded and agreed with me. "Good idea. We didn't get her a gift after all." I smiled and nodded. "I hope your niece and nephew aren't mad that we didn't get them gifts." Gabby then looked at me. "They won't be." I smiled when she said that and went to grab her hand, ready to go see Camila for the first time in a while.

"Your mom is going to be so surprised when Antonio shows up." Gabby laughed when I said that and nodded. "Which do you think she is going to be happier about though? Him being there or us having a baby?" We then both looked at each other and smiled. "The baby." Laughing when we said that, I smiled as I continued to drive towards her mom's place where we would meet up with Antonio. (He said he was going there first so that he can surprise her).
