"Play Dates"

The sun was shining bright, Inkopolis starting to move, shops starting to open along with cafe's. a male i/o was walking around Inkopolis taking a morning stroll, plus waiting for his Childhood friend to arrive for their "play date", as Bobble hat would call them. y/n walked around, waving at Crusty Sean. "Y/N!" y/n heard from behind, he looked over, his childhood friend he wasn't seen in awhile in front of him.

Her eyes closed while she smiled, the smile she never took off. "Bobble!" y/n said, then went for a big hug, making the small girl laugh and hug back. "It's been awhile, I've heard how you and your team have defeated the most powerful teams! Hows life?" y/n asked after releasing the girl "Everything's been good! Me and my team have lots of fun in battles!" Bobble hat said, her smile never falling. y/n patted the top of her head, "that's great Bobbles, so, what do you want to do?" he asked, not stopping from patting bobbles head. "Lets go to the playground we used to go!" Bobble said, grabbing your hand while jumping.

You chuckle and say sure, making Bobble run to the direction of the playground, making you trip over your feet while walking.

fast forward to when you guys are in front of the playground, you both stare at the abandoned playground, the morning sun shining on the play ground. The small breeze made the place feel nice and nostalgic, "This place was good" you muttered while smiling like Bobble hat. "Let's go the Swings!" Bobble hat yelled, then went running to the swings, you following behind.

You propped your self on the swing, then started swinging, the soft breeze hitting your face. You looked over where Bobble was, surprisingly way higher than you are, you smiled and started swinging faster, making you more higher. You both laughed and swung, having fun like you both used too, along Bobbles team.

You look up at the sky, seeing how the clouds look like cotton candy in the morning, "Bobble, look up at the cotton candy sky!" you said smiling look over to Bobble hat. Bobble Hat looked up, then smiled wider "It looks pretty!" She said stopping herself from swinging. You did the same, then looked at the sky again, your smile never leaving your face.

You look over at Bobble hat, who was already looking at you "you wanna go grab some morning ice cream!" You said smiling widely "Yeah!" Bobble hat cheered, getting off the old swing. Getting off the swing, Bobble hat then grabbed your hand and ran over to an ice cream shop, luckily this time you ran with her.

Stopping in front of the ice cream shop, you both came inside, hand in hand. Opening the door you both get a breeze of coldness, along a whiff of chocolate syrup. "hiya sweet tarts, welcome to the ice shop, you guys eating out or in here?" a female inkling with her tentacles to her sides asked, cleaning a cup with a towel, "we'll be eating out" you said smiling, going in front of the women, leading bobble hat with you. "alrighty, what can I get ya'll kiddo's?" the inkling aid placing the cup down.

after ordering -and paying- your guy's ice cream, you guys waited while sitting down in the kitchen island the shop had. "After this, lets go back to the swings!" Bobble hat said, her hands up. You chuckled and patted her head, "sure we can do that" you said smiling. "ok sweet tarts here are your ice creams!" the friendly inkling said, putting your orders in front of you and Bobble hat. You both thanked the inkling and grabbed you ice creams, then headed out walking back to the playground.

You took a lick of your ice cream, the nice flavor spreading through your mouth, "this taste great!" you said looking at Bobble hat, who had a little bit of vanilla ice cream on her cheek. You giggled and wiped it off, clean your thumb by eating the ice cream. 

Getting back to the play ground, you both decided to just sit on the swings. 

You ate your ice cream in silence, not an awkward silence, but a nice silence. "this is nice..." you calmly said after eating your ice cream, Bobble hat hummed then ate the last of her ice cream, "so many memories are from here, remember that one time goggles poured some sand on specs!" bobble hat said laughing a bit, you chuckling from the memory. "Man those were the good days" you said looking out.

"you know, we should do this more often, even with your team, it'll be like the days!" You said looking at Bobble hat.

"Yeah, that sounds like a plan!"
