Y/n, a kinda nice i/o to anyone they care about, but pretty rude to strangers, They were so brave they've even shot back at Vintage, leader of team X-blood at a park when he started getting too cocky. Y/n was one of those you shouldn't mess with, or else you might not see another day. y/n's feistiness caught someones attention, and he wanted them to be by his side.
Back to current times, y/n was strolling around Inkopolis with their teammates, two being psycho's but don't show it until battle, and their other teammate who's just chill and can kill any one. The intimating team was going to work a shift at Grizzco, when Emperor got in front of y/n. They looked at the Emperor in the face, trying to look menacing. It worked due that Emperor was regretting going right in front of you're face, but kept his composure, "y/n, I've seen you're battle skills, and I've been thinking if you and you're team could battle me and my team~?" Emperor said with the smirk many boys and girls would fall for.
Y/n said nothing for a bit, thinking about the question, then nodded "fine" they finally said staring at Emperors sun yellow eye's. "well then let's battle~" Emperor said as his team came from behind him.

Getting into a spawner, y/n and their team stood proudly while Emperor and his team also stood on a spawner. The map was MakoMart, the supermarket where you could see a battle while shopping.
"Ready?"
Emperor gripped his dualies while looking forward, while y/n held their Nautilus 79 firmly.
"GO!"
Both teams ran to different places, inking the whole place, with y/n's team, them and Starlight went in for the middle, already inking the whole place. y/n got alerted that someone was coming for them, and their coming from the right. y/n moved before some ink almost hit them, but was quick enough not to. While running y/n charged their Nautilus and aimed at the enemy who was dodge rolling to them, then y/n noticed it was Emperor.
They calculated where Emperor would be next and aimed at the spot, and surprisingly they were right " Emperor has been hit by y/n!" The speakers yelled as the crowd cheered, y/n inked the places where Emperor inked. The rest for their team already were at the center blocking Prince, N-pacer and edging to ink the place.
1 minute in and Emperor could already tell this might be another lost for him and his teammates. Just then both y/n and Emperor's special was ready at the same time. Both quickly used their specials and started firing at one another. Y/n dodged all the attacks from Emperor but it was the opposite for him. Then y/n got a good hit, making Emperor having to respawn. Still having time with their special, y/n had the chance to splat N-pacer and Prince, leaving Edging for their teammates.
Y/n came back to ground and went to the monarchs territory, so they would have a closer place to the spawn, basically spawn camping. "Emperor we can't get out now!" Prince said trying to plan a way out but nothing would work. Edging then threw a bomb, getting 2 teammates of y/n's team, giving Emperor's team a chance. They all got off the Spawn when suddenly the ground exploded with i/c ink, making the team get killed. With that time, the 2 teammates were able to super jump to y/n.
The timer then started counting down from 10, and every second was wasted on getting splated and standing on the spawner for Emperors team "anddddddddd GAME" the speakers loudly shout and the crowd roars with cheers. Both teams were super jumped to the front stage, waiting for the winners flag to be shown -but they already knew y/n's team already beat them-. While they waited, Emperor was thinking about how y/n fought, the way they had and eye on the enemy, the way they dodged all ink bullets -if that's how there called- and the way their tentacles moved while playing, it was all fascinating to him, you were the right i/o for him.
"Emperor!" Emperor's thoughts were interrupted when edging was waving his hand in front of him, "you good bro? You've been looking at the cute leader of t/n" Edging said wrapping around an arm on Emperors neck "someone catch you're eye~?" Edging said poking emperor's cheek for fun "please stop edging..." Emperor muttered shielding his cheek with his hand "but you're blushing~ you have someone in you're mind~?" Edging said finally stopping and taking off his arm from Emperor.
Emperor didn't realize his face was flushed with sun yellow blush "The king is never flustered Edging!" Emperor said trying to cover his face, just then y/n came up to the two male inklings.
"Hey..." y/n said, loud enough for both to hear, Emperors blush soon grew due to looking at y/n "good game out there, I'm not someone who does this, but maybe we can hang out some time" y/n said handing Emperor a piece of paper. He took it and opened it, no surprise it was their phone number, "My team really likes you guys, that's why I thought if you guys want to go out some time" y/n said starting to turn back.
Once y/n left Edging started teasing Emperor about how face face went sun yellow while y/n was there.
At least Emperor was happy he got your number, oh and you guy's won, no surprise there.
