The rest of the weekend was spent on the beach, boat, or in the hot tub. Nobody left the chateau nearly the entire weekend.
It was Monday afternoon and Avie was just getting home from her shift at The Brew.
She walked in the door of John B's house and threw her bag onto the couch.
"Hello!?" Avie yelled, "Anyone here?" She looked around before grabbing a cookie from the pantry and sitting at the kitchen table with her eyes shut.
"Mmm," She moaned as she ate the cookie.
"Fuck," She opened her eyes and held her stomach as a cramp came along.
She let it pass before realizing there was a bottle of prenatal vitamins and her phone sitting on the table before her.
"What the hell.." She whispered and sat up to take them. She looked at the bottle and realized it was the one her mother had bought her from last week.
She smiled sadly at it then looked at her phone that was fully charged.
She picked it up and instantly texted her mother.

Avie smiled at the text knowing her mom missed her.
im staying at john bs. im fine, i miss you! thank you for dropping the vitamins and my phone -Av
I miss U more love. Daylon and UR father have calmed down a lot but I have not been able to convince them to let you or JJ back. -Am
I did not bring those to U. -Am
Avie scrunched her eyebrows at the text. If her mom didn't bring them, who did?
oh ok... i wonder who did -Av
they wont let me back? -Av
Dad is mad that U went with JJ after that. I am disappointed 2 but I trust U. I miss U dearly. - Am
im sorry, but i knew i wouldnt see JJ if i didnt go wit him :( -Av

Avie bit her lip as she looked around the room to think of a response.

Avie looked to the bottle of prenatal vitamins. She read the label before deciding to take her daily dose starting today.
