"GODDAMNIT JACE!" I growl at him before I bark orders at the other hunters

"GODDAMNIT JACE!" I growl at him before I bark orders at the other hunters. "Fall BACK!"

Everyone reacts instantly and begin to retrieve. They know that I'm the one in charge when my brother isn't there. We run quietly back towards the house with the supplies. Since I'm the boss now, we might as well get the supplies. Although, all I want to do is knock my brother out and drag him back to the Hostel.

"stupid fucking idiot... How can he be so irresponsible?" I mutter under my breath as we run. One of the other hunters, Raphael, looks at me like there's something he want to say. But he doesn't. It annoys me.

"If you got something to say, then spit it out already!"

"Sorry sir, I was just thinking that I actually think your brother is being very brave. Not irresponsible."

I narrow my eyes at him, and he swallows a couple of times while creating a bit more distance to me, but he doesn't shut up.

"He's just being... well Jace. He's the hero, you know. He is always the one to save the day. He'll risk his life for anyone. Even those we might not think deserves it. That's just who he is, and I think it's rather impressive." He smiles by himself shortly and then continues. "Just like when he saved Sebastian, Remember? No one wanted to risk their life for him since he already looked dead when we found him. But Jace saved him."

I stop in my tracks, which makes the entire crew of hunters do the same. Though, they look completely confused.

"Goddamnit!" I kick the tire of an abandoned car, someone have left during The Outbreak, while I yell. I stare into their confused and slightly terrified eyes for a second before a turn around and run back towards my brother. God, sometimes I hate him!

Of course, the other hunters follow me. Not because of me, no because every single one of them would die for Jace in a heartbeat. They just don't want to disobey his orders. And now I'm the one disobeying, which gets them off the hook and capable of helping Jace at the same time. With only hand-gestures to communicate, we scatter out and get organized. I join Jace, who is knelling down at a vantage point, getting ready to use his element of surprise. He doesn't say anything when I drop down beside him. I think he expected me too. We just bump knuckles. They are too many for us, but we don't have to kill them all. Just some of them, and then force them to choose between dying, swimming or retreating. As the woman runs closer, we all stand up simultaneously, and attack the creatures. I have my hunting bow ready to create a cover for the hunters, that doesn't have long rage weapon, and will need to get closer. On Jace's signal, I stand up and begin firing. Killing them of, one by one, while Jace and the others attack on foot. The woman runs past the hunters and hides behind me. I'm guessing, that Jace yelled for her to do that, when he ran past her.

Jace is the only one with a sword, so he is blasting through the lines of Anthroes, separating their heads form their bodies. Taking out as many as possible while dark blood splatters all around him. Raphael is wielding a bat. Knocking in sculls with an aggression, that we only see when he is hunting. Normally he is never angry or violent. He always insists that he is a good catholic. Some of the others are using knives to dig into the Anthroes sculls. You have to get dangerously close to do that, but the hunters are incredibly fast.
