The Night We Met - Kolena

3º Chapter

Two weeks had passed since the Mikaelson ball, and since that everything was calm around the town, no fights, no dead bodies and no missing people.

I was preparing myself to spend the afternoon watching movies when i heard a knock on the door. I found it odd, since Bonnie and Caroline were at the cheerleading practice and the Salvatore brothers were out of town. I hurried to open the door, only to find Klaus on the other side,I thought about closing the door in his face, but honestly, I want to live to see tomorrow.

"Good evening Elena." - Klaus says entering the house.

"What do you want Klaus?" - I asked him,  watching him make his way to the living room.

"Straight to the point, that's exactly why I haven't killed you yet." - He jokes.

"No Klaus, you haven't killed me, because you need me, remember?" - I kind of ask him, starting to get annoyed by his presence in my house.

"Yes, the blood thing... Well that's exactly why I'm here. I need hybrids and to make them, I need your blood..." - I stopped him right there.

"So you need me right?" - I asked and watched him nod in affirmation. - "So, let's make a deal..." - I say.

"I'm listening." - He says, putting himself a drink.

"I give you blood, every month willingly and in return you don't hurt any of my friends and family." - I saw him smile.

"Deal." - He say.

"Wait... really?" - I asked in disbelief.

"Yes Elena, it's a win-win situation. I will have your blood and you know that your friends are safe." - He says walking towards me.

"It's a deal then." - I say and watch him disappear in front of my eyes. "Fucking vampires always leave the door open when they leave the fucking house, fuck." - I whisper to myself while closing the door.

#Later that Afternoon#

"You did what?" - Damon screamed at me.

"I did what had to be done. I protected all of you." - I scream back at him.

"Elena, doing a deal with Klaus it's a really bad idea, and you know that." - Stefan says from the other side of the table.

"See, even your ex-boyfriend agrees with me." - Damon say.

"You know that i'm your brother right?" - Stefan says in a sarcastic way.

"That's not the point here, the point is, you are going to pick up your phone and your going to call Klaus and tell him that the deal is off." - Damon screamed once again.

The room went completely silent when the front door opened, from the living room Elijah appeared with a small smile on his face. The sound of the door closing was heard only a few seconds later, behind Elijah comes the only person who could make this environment a little less boring for me, but all this coming and going reminded me that I need to change the name on the house deed. The scream soon came back and I was tired of it, I slapped the table making everybody quiet.

"You know what? I can make decisions on my own. I never stopped any of you from doing what you wanted and sometimes, all you wanted to do was going to get us all in trouble. This time i want to be the one that protect you all, and with this agreement I can guarantee that." - I yelled at all of them watching Damon coming closer to me with rage showing in his eyes.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you mate." - Kol says in his british accent, shielding my body with his. - "Let Elena choose wherever she wants, if she wants to protect you all, let her be. Unlike all of you, she is not selfish, she just wants to keep you all safe, so you should all be grateful." - Kol said, taking a step towards Damon.

"Do I know you?" -Damon asks in a haughty way.

"I don't think so, i've met a lot of people in my life and you don't particularly stand out" - Kol answered him with a smile on his face.

Everyone went quiet after that, the only person i could see was Elijah that was looking at Kol with a proud smile on his face. I whisper a soft "Thank you" to Kol that made him smirk.

"You're welcome Darling." - He says in a low tone.
