Out of a sudden i saw everyone's faces directed to Kol and when I looked back I couldn't be more happy about what i'm seeing. Kol was flashing using his vampire speed all around the house screaming and cursing but in a happy way. Everyone was confused by his action but I couldn't be the one to tell them, at least not alone. It was then that I felt my body being lifted up from the floor. Kol turned me around and put his hand on my thighs making me close my legs around his waist. He was looking at me in the eyes, our foreheads connected and a smile playing on both of our lips.
"Is it true?" - He whispered, a whisper so low I could barely hear it.
"It is..." - I said, my eyes already filled with tears ready to fall.
"I'm going to be a father..." - He connected our lips in a shallow kiss, making me smile. - "I'm going to be a father..." - He said again, making me laugh.
"Next time you say it... please say it louder so they can hear you." - I said, turning my head so I could watch everyone looking at us with still confused expressions.
He let go of my body gently on the floor, he took a step towards his family, every eye on him watching his action closely.
"I'm going to be a father!" - He screamed from the top of his lungs making me and Hayley laugh, the rest of the family was just switching his looks between me and Kol. Niklaus was the first one to take a step in the direction of Kol bringing his younger brother to a hug. Everyone was hugging me and Kol and cheering us. The most warm hug I got was from Rebekah. She was in tears when she let go of me.
"I'm going to be an aunt... again." - She said looking at my flat belly. - "You are going to be so loved... All of your family already loves you and can't wait to meet you." - She said in the direction of my belly, what made me let a few tears fall.
"That's true sister. This baby is going to be loved and protected... you are one of us Elena, just like you baby. You are a Mikaelson, not by blood but by heart. You are family, always and forever." - Niklaus said, hugging me tight.
"Thank you Nik, that really means a lot coming from you." - I said.
"And you young man, you are going to be a father just like I was... please honor that. I know that this was your dream since you turned 15, but now your dream finally became true. Don't ever think that you are alone on this journey. We all love you Kol, you are our brother, and I think all of us are so proud of you." - Klaus said, making Kol look at him.
I knew the way that Kol felt towards his family, the feeling of an outsider, the feeling that he was never loved and I could see how happy these words make him be. He hugged his brother like probably never happened before, so the rest of the siblings hugged them crying into each other's embrace.
I felt a pair of arms hugging me, Hayley of course hugged me so tight but i needed a hug like this, because looking at the scene in front of me made me cry like a fucking baby.
Maybe it's the hormones, maybe the connection... or maybe it is just the feeling of family finally together, this whole scene feels like home....
