The days passed, the grief started and Elena was still on her bed, she couldn't get up, she couldn't leave her room because if she did, she would be lost, all alone in the house where the dark to her light had been killed in cold blood. She was still holding on to the shirt that Kol left in her house one of the days that they spent together.
Elena was doing the dishes when Kol hugged her from behind.
"Can you not distract me please? I'm trying to finish this so I can spend the rest of my day with you on the couch." - Elena said, her smile very present on her face while Kol rested his chin on her shoulder.
"You can do that later, you know Darling?" - Kol said to her, giving her a little kiss on the neck.
"Yes, maybe I could... but you can wait a few more minutes you know? Patience is a virtue." - Elena said.
"I was never pacient and I have 3 siblings that can confirm it." - Kol said in a whisper near her ear, he started to kiss and give small bites on Elena's neck making her laugh a little.
"I think I know what you need..." - Elena said, turning her body so she could face him.
"Really darling? And what is that?" - Kol asked with that typical smirk on his lips.
"A really, really really ... cold shower." - Elena said that and didn't waste any time grabbing the dishwasher faucet and pointed to Kol. In a few seconds he was completely wet and all Elena could do was laugh. She laughed to the point that she could barely breathe.
"Oh... you didn't do it. " - Kol said, looking at his whole body and then to her.
"Oh i'm sorry... you are spending too much time with Klaus lately." - She said in a loud laugh.
"Why are you saying that?" - Kol asked, putting his wet shirt on the counter.
"Because you smell like a wet dog..."
It was at that moment that Elena needed to start running through the entire house because she had a 1000 years old vampire trying to catch her so he could take his revenge.
Elena laughed and runned at the same time, she was looking behind her shoulder when she fell on the floor laughing. Kol was laughing too, so he just layed on top of her making her clothes wet, he shaked his head making his wet hair drop water into her face.
"So this is your big revenge?" - She asked, trying to finally calm her breath.
"Relax Darling... I'm just getting started." - He said, the biggest and most beautiful smile she had ever seen.
Elena is crying hard again, grabbing the only thing that belonged to Kol, trying to keep that shirt so close to her heart, trying to put it inside of her... maybe that way the void that she felt from losing him would be a little easier to handle. She had her back turned to the door, so she didn't notice when a little blonde entered her home.
