Chapter 22 - Romeo and Juliet

The day has come.

Y/n is on backstage getting ready for the play, then Natasha came in.

"Lucy needs you in the Music recording room." Natasha rolled her eyes.

"Why?" Asked Y/n.

"How would I know?" She scoffed. "Just follow me."

Y/n never wondered why, so she just followed her.

"Y/n, where are you going?" Asked Nathan.

"Oh, Lucy." she smiled

"Ok, come back early, Ok?"

"Ok," She chuckled, continuing to follow Natasha.

As they arrived, Y/n went inside the room, looking around for Lucy.

"Lucy?" She called. Then, she turned around to Natasha. "Natasha, I think-" with that, Natasha locked her in the room.

Y/n ran towards the door, banging it and shouting out so that she could be heard. Only the problem is that no one can hear her, for the room is sound proof.

Cara was really furious when she only got the role as Y/n's understudy, so she thought of a plan to get Y/n away from Tyler.

10 minutes have passed and Y/n hasn't come back in the backstage.

Nathan is getting worried. He wondered what's taking her and Lucy so long until...

"Hi, I'm sorry I'm late." Lucy sat next to Nathan.

"What do you mean late? Isn't Y/n with you?"

"No, why? I thought she has already arrived early here."

"But, she said-" Nathan realized that the girl she's with is Natasha. "Lucy, go to Draco. He's sitting in the second row seat. Tell him Y/n's missing."

Lucy obeyed and went out of the backstage.

Nathan, on the other hand, tried to find Natasha. He's furious, of course. He never wanted to anything bad happen to his girls. He marched inside the dressing room to where Cara and Natasha is.

"You b*tches!" He raised his hand up to the air.

The two girls gasped, sounded more like mice, as they covered their faces with their hands.

He lowered his hand down to interrogate the two.

"Where is Y/n?" he fumed, crossing his arms on his chest.

"Oh, she must have backed out. She told me she didn't want to do it anymore." Natasha scoffed.

"Shut up, you little rat." He growled. "Tell me or I will slap your faces on the wall." He raised his hand again to the air.

"Fine, fine." Cara said in fear. "She's in Music Recording Room."

"Which Room, Cara? There's a lot of Music Recording Room."

"That depends on you." She smirked.

Nathan knew that she wouldn't tell in order for her take Y/n's place, so he went out of the room and met Draco and Lucy.

"Where is she?" Asked Draco.

"They said she's in one of the Music Recording Room. The problem is we don't know which?" Replied Nathan. "I can't believe Cara is trying to steal Y/n's spotlight."

"Where is the farthest?" Questioned Draco.

"The farthest is the one in the Elementary Department." Answered Lucy.

Draco knew where the Elementary Department was and his eyes took glimpse on the Music Recording Room sign before when they went to see the dance room.

He ran away, leaving the two behind.

"Draco! Do you even know where that is?" Shouted Lucy.

Draco have reached the Elementary Department. He went up to the second floor to where the dance room was, for the Music Room is just right next to it.

He knew those girls would choose somewhere far from the auditorium so that they could easily take Y/n's role.

He tried opening the door, but it was locked and there is no key to be found anywhere. So he took out his wand and pointed it on the door.

"Alohomora," The door unlocked, slightly opening the door.

He grabbed the knob and opened it, and saw Y/n sitting on the floor.

"Draco!" She suddenly hugged him, for she quite feel relief that she was saved.

Draco didn't know if he should hug her back, but before he could do, Y/n pulled away.

"Sorry..." She apologized.

"It's alright." Said he. "Come on, Nathan and Lucy are waiting for you."

Draco grabbed her hand. Y/n got startled. He pulled her with him and ran back to the Auditorium.

They got back on the Backstage. Lucy and Nathan were glad that she's back, only the problem is, her hair was ruined and she isn't dressed yet.

"Come on now, Y/n. We better fix your hair and dress you up, your scene starts any minute now." Nathan pulled her with him.

Y/n took a last glimpse on Draco, giving him a smile of gratitude.

Draco too smiled back.

Lucy looked at the two, she noticed on how Draco looked at her, same as how Tyler looked at her too. Now, Lucy was confused, she knows that Tyler likes Y/n, and now, Draco adds up.

"You like her, don't you?" Lucy blurted, standing besides Draco.

"What?" He looked at Lucy. "No, she's just a friend, that's all."

"Pfft, just friends. Heard of that before." Lucy chuckled.

"Pardon-"

"Why won't you stay here instead of going back to your seat." She smirked.

"If you say so, alright." Draco agreed.

They both heard footstep behind them. They both turned around and saw Y/n already fixed up for the play and Nathan beside her.

Mrs. Reynolds approached her, saying that it's already her part.

Draco, on the other hand, couldn't stop staring at her. She looks exquisite. She's stunning.

Y/n gave him a smile and walked on, on stage.

"I did a great job." Nathan said, proudly.

"She's beautiful, Nathan." Lucy smiled. "She always is."

Nathan noticed that Draco couldn't take his eyes off of Y/n. So he walked closer, standing beside Draco.

"Don't drool, Draco. She's Juliet now, not Y/n." Nathan teased.

He cleared his throat. "I don't know what you're talking about."

"Whatever you say." He giggled.

The Balcony scene is now playing, where Juliet was thinking about Romeo. Draco eye's never left Y/n during the whole play. He just couldn't stop.

Then, Tyler kissed Y/n.

Draco didn't realize that his hand, curled up into a fist. He felt the pain again like when Y/n told him that Tyler would be Romeo. His heart wished the man that Y/n is kissing is him, but he felt hopeless when he remembered that Y/n likes him and there is a girl that he is ought to find. So she shrugged it off of his mind, and calmed himself down.
