The servants of the Harlington House were busy on preparing for Lady Y/n's Ball. The maids and valets are adding Flowers on Vases and decorating them somewhere that makes the ballroom beautiful. Others were cleaning and arranging the chandeliers and other stuffs.

Coco ran downstairs, in his mouth was a ribbon. Y/n tried to chase Coco, but Coco was faster than her.

"Coco! Don't run. I need that ribbon." Shouted Y/n, running downstairs, barefoot, and she passed by her governess.

"Lady Y/n! Where are your shoes?" The Governess scolded. "A lady must not walk around with no shoes. That is improper!"

Y/n didn't stop or listened. She just continued to chase on Coco.

Coco passed by Mr. Crew and Mary, causing them to step aside to let Coco pass between them. Y/n too, passed by.

"Milady! You might step on a pin!" Warned Mary.

Coco stepped outside, leading Y/n to the garden and to the maze. Y/n suddenly stepped on a thorn from a stem of rose that have fell.

She sat down on the stoned bench, and checked her foot. It stings a bit as she removed the tiny thorn and bled.

Her eyes wandered around and there was no sight of Coco. She sighed and just wiped the blood off with her skirt.

"Lady Y/n!"

She turned her head to where the voice was.

"Your Highness," she grinned and about to stand up.

"Please don't, your foot got hurt. There's no need to curtsy." Prince Albert smiled, walking towards her while holding her shoes. He kneeled down in front of her, taking his handkerchief out.

"Your Highness-"

"Albert will do, Lady Y/n." He smiled, and wiped her feet before he placed the shoes on her.

"Albert then, but you should call me Y/n, if I were to call you by your name," she grinned. "Albert."

Prince Albert sat down next to her. "There is something I ought to tell you."

Y/n looked at the Prince curiously and waiting for him to tell her what it was.

"I won't able to open the ball with you tonight." He sighed.

"What? Why?" Y/n asked calmly.

"I am to later return to Sweden. I just received a call and told me that my Mother have gotten ill."

"Oh," she frowned. "I'm sorry to hear that."

"It's alright. But I'll be back as soon my Mother recovers."

"I'll pray for your mother's recovery." She smiled, softly.

"Thank you." He placed his hand on her cheek, leaning her closer to kiss her on the forehead.

Coco came back to Y/n without the ribbon she needed.

"Hello there, little one." Said Prince Albert.

"Coco, where's my ribbon?" She placed Coco on her lap. "Forget the ribbon, I can just buy tomorrow." She giggled.

Evening came and many visitors have arrived.

Y/n was still in her room, looking at herself at the vanity table. Her thoughts were still playing with her. If only her thoughts would stop for this night, maybe she'll be able to feel comfortable.
