A/N Sorry about the long wait. On Thursday my app was being a butt, and on Friday I went on a field trip and didn't get back until seven. Anyways the song Bellamy sings, "Heart like yours" by Willamette Stone was suggested by @Amby77. It's right there. The auditions are going to be in two parts so I can put in the other song.
Clarke P.O.V
I stood in front of the mirror brushing my blonde hair. After putting it in a high pony tail I glanced at my watch. I needed to leave or else I was going to be late for the audition, which started at seven-fifty. I sighed going downstairs where Camilo was already waiting for my mother and me. My mother, who had made these past two weeks had been absolutely terrible. She had started going to work later so she could take me and Camilo to school, and had my Uncle Wallace pick us up from school. She also had made sure I couldn't leave the house for anything but school by making seeing that Cage or Uncle Wallace were always around. Therefore, I was only able to see Bellamy at school. I couldn't even text or call him because my mother had taken away my phone. Not to mention that she had also locked my laptop, and only her and my Uncle Wallace had the password. Neither of which unlocked my laptop, unless I proved I had to use it for homework. My mother had been serious on forbidding my relationship with Bellamy, I never thought she would do all that she is doing to keep me from him. It was ignorant of me to underestimate her that way, but I guess I simply hoped she would respect my relationship with Bellamy. Not seeing Bellamy wasn't the only thing I hadn't been able to do. I also couldn't go to the training sessions, which was also not good. Not being able to see Bellamy was worse though. My mother came down with Charlotte. I crossed my arms over my chest like, I did whenever she was around and put a scowl on my face. I hadn't talked to her in about a week, and I wasn't planning on talking to her any time soon. I knew this was a little childish on my part, but my reason for doing it wasn't childish. She took one look at me and sighed.
"Let's go." We all followed her into the car. I sat in the back in between Camilo and Charlotte. The ride was silent. When we arrived, Camilo and I got out immediately and walked towards the theatre. I quickly scanned the parking lot for Bellamy's car, but I didn't see it. We entered the theatre and sat in the back, other students were coming in. Raven came in and sat down next to us. I glanced over at Camilo. He had remembered two more memories in the past two weeks. One had been about his elementary school, in which he remembered his third grade teacher and how she had notices one of his bruises. In the memory he had lied to her and said he fell down while playing tag. The second one had been about when his father had left. His father had left two years ago when he had been fifteen. In the memory Camilo had been screaming at his father to get out, to leave. His father screamed back of course and they ended up getting into a fist fight. Camilo didn't go into extreme detail of the flash back and said that he had won then his father had left. I could tell he was having a hard time with these memories, but he wasn't as bad as he could be. I looked back to the entrance than at my watch. It was 7:49. Bellamy should have been here by now. I leaned back in my chair, as Mrs. Rose enters the theatre.
"Good Morning students!" She greeted cheerily with a smile on her face. Everyone mumbled a good morning. I was happy to be here on a Saturday, unlike most of the others because I could see Bellamy. Camilo had told my mother that the auditions were over at twelve-thirty. That was a lie, because they ended at nine-thirty. I thanked Camilo for lying to my mom in order for me to spend more time with Bellamy. He simply smiled in response, saying that it was his pleasure to help in making me happy.
"First let's begin with the group performances. We will start with Fox's group." Fox was in a group with Sterling, Miles, and Atom. She was the singer, while Miles and Sterling played guitar and Atom played drums. They were pretty good. Afterwords a group of four boys auditioned, then a group of five girls, and then a trio of two girls and one boy went. There was only one group left to perform before our group had to perform, and Bellamy was still not here. Our group was Camilo, Raven, Octavia, Bellamy, and me. We all sang, but Bellamy and I were the lead singers. For the performance Raven and Octavia would be back up singers, plus Raven would play bass, and Octavia would play back up guitar. Bellamy would play guitar. Camilo would play drums. We were all surprised he could play, but when we were asking him if he remembered how to play any instruments, he said he thought he could play drums. We went to the school's band room and asked if we could use them. Camilo got on, and immediately started playing faster than humanly possible. As the final group finished the chorus, I felt someone take the empty seat next to me. I turned to see Bellamy. Octavia sat behind us. She leaned forward,"Hey guys."
I turned back to her."Where were you two?"
Bellamy answered with a smirk. "Octavia had a little accident."
Octavia rolled her eyes at Bellamy.
I raided an eyebrow at her,"What kind of an accident?"
She opened her mouth to answer but was interrupted by Mrs.Rose.
"Bellamy and Clarke's group." We all stood and walked to the stage. We began to play, Green Day's Boulevard of Broken Dreams.
Clarke- I walk a lonely road the only one that I have ever known
Bellamy had picked the song and we had all agreed.
Clarke-I walk this empty street on the Boulevard of Broken Dreams
I continued to sing.
Clarke- my shadows the only one that walks beside me
I reached the final lyrics.
Clarke-I walk alone
The audience clapped and we walked of stage. I turned back to Octavia, as the solo auditions began.
"So what accident happened?"
Bellamy snorted and Octavia sent a glare his way. She then removed one of her black gloves revealing her purple hand. I almost burst out laughing.
"What happened?" I asked failing to keep a straight face. Raven and Camilo looked back and saw Octavia's hand. Raven laughed and Camilo smiled. Octavia scowled at them, slipping her glove back on.
"I mistakenly grabbed a bottle of paint instead of cream."
Raven quietly laughed again,"How do you mistaken paint for cream?"
Octavia shrugged."I was rushing and the bottle was on the counter for some reason so I grabbed it and when I looked at my hands they were purple." I shook my head, smiling.
"Octavia Blake." Mrs. Rose called. Octavia went to the stage and sang Chandelier by Sia. Octavia had an incredible range, and her performance was great. I was sure she was going to get one of the solo spots.
"Bellamy Blake." Bellamy walked to the stage carrying the black acoustic guitar I had given him for his birthday and began to play, then sing.
Bellamy P.O.V
I took a deep breath, then began to sing.
Breath deep, Breath clear
I looked up at Clarke.
Know that I'm here
Know that I'm here
Waitin'
I would always wait for Clarke, but luckily I didn't have to.
Stay strong, stay gold
That's what Clarke was, strong and gold. Strong because she could withstand anything to fight for what she believed in. Gold because she was young and innocent, haven done nothing bad that she didn't need to do.
You don't have to fear
You don't have to fear
Waitin'
My Princess didn't have to fear anything, because I would always be thee for her. To protect her and care for her.
I'll see you soon
I'll see you soon
Not once did I take my eyes of her.
How could a heart like yours
Ever love a heart like mine
It was still unclear to me as to why she had fallen for me. Me an orphan, with a dangerous past and and unflattering reputation of being a player.
How could I live before?
How could I have been so blind?
I didn't know how it was possible for me to live before Clarke became my girlfriend, but think it was because I wasn't living. I was simply going on day thorough day without actually knowing what it was to feel alive.
You opened up my eyes
You opened up my eyes
I was a blind man, my Princes was the light which had made me see.
Sleep sound, sleep tight
Here in my mind
Here in my mind
Waitin'
Clarke matched my intense gaze, and at that moment it was as if we were the only two in the room.
Come close, my dear
You don't have to fear
You don't have to fear
Waitin'
Before Clarke had came back to Arke, I had slept with many girls, but they meant nothing.
I'll see you soon
I'll see you soon
I knew now that I was unconsciously awaiting for someone to come and make me feel something more powerful than what I felt all those night with all those girls combined. All I felt with those girls was something physical. With Clarke it was something much, much more.
How could a heart like yours
Clarke's heart was big and warm.
Ever love a heart like mine?
My heart was closed off, and cold.
How could I live before?
How could I have been so blind?
I didn't know why she had fallen for me, and why I had been blind, but I was glad she did fall for me.
You opened up my eyes
You opened up my eyes
Clarke did open my eyes, and made me see that it is okay to love.
Hold fast hope
The hope of Clarke one day being my girlfriend was one of the things which motivated me to sing to her at the Masquerade. That might have been the best decision I ever made.
All your love is all I've ever known
It was true, Clarke's love is all I knew.
Hold fast hope
All your love is all I've ever known
My Princess' love is all I will ever know.
How could a heart like yours
Ever love a heart like mine?
Never would my shock at Clarke loving me wear off, because it was completely baffling.
How I could I live before?
How could I have been so blind?
I had used a softer tone while I sang.
You opened up my eyes
She did open my eyes, and I was thankful for that.
You opened up my eyes
If Clarke hadn't come back I don't know what would have happened with me.
You opened up my eyes
She was the only one who could have made me change, and she did. Her love changes me.
You opened up my eyes
I finished the song with one strum. The students clapped as I headed back to my seat. When I reached my seat, Clarke turned to me and smiled sweetly.
"You did an amazing job Bellamy."
I smiled back."Thank you, Miss Princess."
She giggled and rolled her eyes."You're such a dork."
"Am I really?" I asked jokingly.
Clarke nodded smiling."Yep, but you're an adorable dork."
I rolled my eyes, but leaned closer to her. Our lips connected, immediately sending a course of electricity through me. I placed one of my hands on the back of her neck pulling her closer. Her hands were pressed against my chest. We didn't care if there were people around us. Before Clarke's mom had forbade her from seeing me we wouldn't of cared of people saw us kissing, and now we cared even less. I missed Clarke since I was only able to see her doing school, and I wished I could just take her somewhere her mother couldn't bother us.
"Clarke Griffin." Mrs. Rose called out. We separated with shaking breaths.
"Good luck." I told her.
She smiled,"Why thank you Mr. Blake." I rolled my eyes as she stood up and wales to the stage. She sang Mine by Taylor Swift. Her voice was as beautiful as her big blue eyes, and as passionate and fiery as her personality. Clarke's performance was unbelievably great. She finished and came back to sit with me as the duo performances began.
