Clarke P.O.V
"So Princess are you going to explain to me what you meant yesterday by your mom stopping you from being with me?" He asked. We were in my room laying on my bed. My head and hands rested on his chest. His arm was around me and one of his hands was absentmindedly toying with my blonde hair.
I sighed."She thinks your too old for me."
"Is that it?"
In a quiet voice I said,"She also said that your'e going to break my heart."
He let his hand which was toying with my hair drop."What?"
"She thinks your'e going to break my heart." I repeated looking up at him.
"Why?" He asked, leaning back so he could look at me. I shrugged, I honestly didn't know or care why she thought Bellamy was going to break my heart. What I did know was that I loved him, nothing was going to change that.
"You don't believe I would do that do you?" He asked sounding a little unsure.
"Of course not, like I've said before I trust you." I told him sincerely.
"Thank you." He tilted my chin up gently with two fingers and kissed me softly. The kiss was short, but still amazing and sweet.
I smiled up at him thinking of how lucky I was to have a guy like Bellamy in my life. When I first met him he was really annoying, but now I couldn't possibly imagine my life without him in it."Have I told you that I love you?"
"Not today Princess."
"Well then I love you."
"I love you too Princess." He wrapped both of his arms around me and placed his chin on my head. My head once again rested on his chest, and my hands were on his shoulders. With my head on his chest I could hear his heart beat, I could also hear his breathing, which was soothing. We stayed there in comfortable silence for a long time. It was nice.

As we laid on her bed quietly my mind raced with thoughts of what she said. I didn't understand why her mother thought I was going to break her heart. Okay that was a lie. I did understand, because I did come off as that type of guy. And I did have a lot of one night stands, not to mention that I haven't had a real relationship ever, beside Anya, and that ended badly to say the least. Even if I did have a lot of flaws I would never hurt Clarke, I loved her. I'm certain she is the love of my life. Though I was only eighteen I knew she was the girl I wanted to marry, maybe not know because we were still in high school, but that's what I wanted. I had to find a way to show her mom I was serious about Clarke. Clarke said she trusted me, but a moms influence was a powerful thing. If her mother insisted for Clarke to leave me, I was afraid she would. My arms slightly tightened around her at the thought. The thought of losing Clarke, my Princess, was terrifying. When I first met Clarke, she was a little irritating, but now she was the one person other than O I really, truly loved. Clarke was everything for me and I couldn't stand the thought of my life being without her. If she left me I would be lost, completely destroyed. Hopefully Clarke would never leave me. I was torn out from my thoughts when my Princess spoke.
"What are you thinking about Bellamy?" She asked looking at me with her beautiful blue eyes.
"Nothing important." I lied. What I was thinking about was very important.
"Oh okay, are you hungry?" She absentmindedly played with the buttons on my dark grey shirt.
"A little, do you want me to cook something?" I asked.
"Would you?"
"Only if you help me Princess." I said.
"Okay, let's go." She grabbed my hand and led me to her large kitchen. I took a look around and decided to make spaghetti.
"So what are we making?" She asked.
"Spaghetti." I answered. We got out all we needed then began cooking. Cooking with Clarke was admittedly fun. When we finished I took out two plates and glass cups. Then I served us. I placed the plates on the table, then pulled out a chair for Clarke.
"Thank you." She smiled as she slid into the chair.
"Your welcome." I went into the kitchen and grabbed our cups full of Sprite. I handed one to Clarke. Clarke took the first fork full of spaghetti.
"This is really good." She said. I smiled and tasted the spaghetti. She was right it was delicious.
"We're a good team Princess." I said.
"Yes we are." She smiled sweetly at me. We heard the door open and went to the living room. There was Dr.Griffin, Clarke's mom.
"Hi mom." Clarke said.
"Hi honey, I see your'e not alone." She said referring to me.
"Hello Dr. Griffin, nice to see you again." I greeted.
"Nice to see you too Mr.Blake." She said tensely. "So as long as you're here can I ask you a couple questions."
"Mom." Clarke said.
"It's fine Princess." I tried to stay cool, but truly I was nervous. What if she asked a question and I gave an answer she didn't want?
"Okay then, let's go to take a seat." Dr. Griffin said. We followed her and into the living room. I sat on the couch next to Clarke, and Dr.Griffin sat on the recliner next to the couch.
"So Bellamy what are your intentions with my daughter?" She asked.
"Only the best ma'am." I looked at Clarke and smiled. Clarke smiled back.
"How old are you?" She asked though I was sure she already knew my age.
"Almost Nineteen." I responded.
"Don't you think you're a little too old for my daughter?" She asked.
"Mother." My Princess warned.
"It's just a question Clarke. So?" Dr. Griffin turned to me.
" Clarke's about to be 18 and we are only a year and two days apart, which isn't that much of an age separation."
"What do you plan on doing after high school?" She asked.
"I'm going to go to a college here, on an athletic scholarship ."
"Why here?" She asked.
"Because I want to continue taking care of my sister." I answered.
"Why? Where are your parents?" She asked.
I tensed, but answered."I never knew my father, and my mother died a couple days after giving birth to my sister. The Kanes, my foster parents, aren't people who I would leave my sister alone with."
"The reason for that is?" She questioned suspiciously.
I politely responded." No offense ma'am but I would rather not answer."
"Do you have something to hide Mr.Blake?"
"No, but there are only certain people I share certain information with, and with all due respect yo aren't one of them." I said getting a little irritated.
"Well if you keep secrets from everyone except certain people I can only imagine the secrets you are keeping from Clarke."
"I keep no secrets from my Princess." I told her sternly.
"That's what you say, but what can I or Clarke expect from a boy like you. "
"Mom!" Clarke exclaimed standing up. I stood up too.
"Dr.Griffin I don't know what you have against me, but I do know I love your daughter."
Dr.Griffin stood to face me."You love her? You've been dating her for less then a month."
"It's enough time for me to realize she's the best thing that's ever happened to me, and that I would do anything to be with her." I said firmly.
"I've heard enough, leave my home Mr.Blake." She said.
"Fine." I turned to Clarke. "See you tomorrow Princess." I leaned in and gave her a kiss.
"Now Mr.Blake!" Dr.Griffin yelled. I pulled away from Clarke, and gave her a quick smile before heading to the door.
