Chapter 10-Sleepover

Clarke P.O.V
After I got home I decided to do my Art homework, so I wouldn't have any when Bellamy dropped Octavia off. I began drawing my fathers watch, it was the most important material possession for me. It took me about twenty minutes, and I liked the outcome. Afterwards I began my other homework. As I put my things away I heard a knock on the door. I went downstairs and opened the door for Octavia. She was carrying her backpack which I assumed also had her clothes.
"Hey Octavia, come in. You can set your backpack down in the living room."
She nodded." So what are we going to do?"
I shrugged." What do you want to do?"
"How about we look up dresses for the masquerade ball?" She asked.
"Octavia, thats after mid terms, a month from now." I told her.
"So? It's never too early to look for what to wear."
"How 'bout instead we play truth or dare?" I suggested.
"Can we call over some people?" She asked.
"Sure, you call some of your other friends and I'll call Monty and Jasper. Oh actually tell the, to come over around five so we can get some snacks."
She nodded and went to call some people. I invited Monty and Jasper over, then went to get my purse from my room.
"Ready?" I asked Octavia.
She hung up her phone." Yeah, which store are we going to?"
"A store about ten minutes from her walking." I answered.
As we were walking to the store, I asked." Who'd you invite?"
"My friend Fox and this girl named Raven. I also invited Miles, and Miller since he will be kinda lonely without his best friend."
I nodded. At least it wasn't Murphy, another one of Bellamy's friends, he honestly gave me the creeps. At the store we bought a twenty four pack of Pepsi, two family size bags of Lays, and a lot of MnM's. At my house we poured the chips and MnM's into bowls. We had a full bowl of MnM's. Octavia helped me move the coffee table that was in the living room aside so we would all be able to sit on the floor. Then we sat the bowls and sodas down on the coffee table. At exactly five there was a knock on the door. It was Monty and Jasper.
"Hey guys come in," I greeted them with a hug."Octavia's in the living room already. We are just gonna wait a couple minutes for some of her friends to come."
They sat on the floor were Octavia was, and I handed them each a can of Pepsi. I was glad I invited them, if there was any awkward silence they would purposely or not somehow make everyone laugh. A couple minutes later there was another knock on the door. This time it was Miller with who I assumed was Miles. Miles was a scrawny little kid, but he was adorably shy. He reminded me a little of Monty.
"Hey Miller." I smiled at him. Then I turned at the boy behind him. "Hey you must be Miles, I'm Clarke." I extended my hand and he shook it.
"Hi." He said.
"So why don't you guys come. Octavia, Monty, and Jasper are In the living room, we are just waiting for a couple others." I lead them to the living room. Then there was another her knock on the door. This time Octavia answered it.
"Guys this is Fox." She said gesturing for a pretty, long light brown haired girl. We all waved at her." And this is Raven." She gestured for a pretty Latina girl.
"Hey so you you guys ready to start?" I asked.They nodded. "Okay who wants to start."
"I'll start." Fox said. "Okay, Raven truth or dare?"
"Dare." She said.
"Okay, I dare you to drink toilet water."
Instead of going 'ewe' like most girls would've, she simply turned to me and as asked, "Where's your bathroom?"
I smiled." Follow me." They all followed me to the downstairs bathroom. Miller took out his phone to video this, and I handed Raven a cup. Raven dipped the cup into the toilet bowl, then took a long sip.
"Ahh that's some good toilet water." She said. We laughed and Octavia scrunched up her nose, and said, "Gross."
We went back to the living room and sat down.
"Yay my turn." Raven said. "Octavia, truth or Dare?"
"Dare, duh." She answered.
Raven tapped her chin as if thinking. "I dare you to run down the streets screaming'Im getting chased by a turtle in a tutu!'
We all looked at her as if she was crazy.
"What? It's the first thing that came into my mind." She defended herself.
Octavia shrugged."Fine." Miller was still recording. Octavia stood up went outside, and at the top of her lungs began yelling, "I'm being chased by a turtle in a tutu." She ran down the street and back yelling that same thing. This earned her strange glances from those who were outside and some people peeked out of their windows. Once again we all sat back down in the living room laughing. Octavia turned to me.
"Truth or Dare Clarke?"
My phone rang, I looked down it was Wells. "I'll be right back." I stood and went to the kitchen."Hey Wells what's up?"
"Do you want to hang out?" He asked.
"Can't I'm hanging with Octavia and some other friends."
"Who's there?"
"Monty, Jasper, Fox, Raven, Miles, and Miller." I answered.
"Millers there? " He asked anger creeping into his voice.
"Yeah, so?"
"I don't want you hanging out with him Clarke." He said.
"You don't get to choose who I hang out with." I began getting irritated.
"Clarke he's part of Bellamy's gang and they seem like bad news."
"Don't be so quick to judge a book by its cover." I told him angrily.
"Just don't hang out with him!"He demanded.
"You don't tell me who I can be friends with Wells. We've been dating for less than a week and your already being possessive!" I screamed.
"Clarke, have you seen the way he looks at you? It's clear Miller likes you!" He yelled.
"So your jealous. That's what this is about, you know what Wells, if your going to act like this then the best thing is for us to break up! We're through!" I hung up, and stared at my phone. Oh gosh, I just broke up with Wells. I probably just lost my best friend. Why did I even say yes to o him in the first place? I sunk down and hugged my knees, burying my face into them. I started to cry, but it wasn't because I broke up with my boyfriend, but because I just lost my friend that I've known since I was a baby. I heard so,done clear there throat. I looked up to see everyone standing there, they probably were there since I was fighting with Wells.
Octavia was the first to speak." Are you okay?"
"Yeah I'm fine." I said wiping my tears with my short. Monty and Jasper hugged me though I told them was fine. I accepted the hug.
"You sure?" Asked Raven. "You just broke up with your boyfriend."
" Trust me I'm fine, I don't even care about him that way." I told her.
Miller spoke next." If you didn't care about him that way, then why are you crying?"
" Because he was my best friend, almost a brother to me, and I might've just lost him forever." I answered. He nodded
"Well why don't we get back to the game." Fox said trying to lighten the mood. I stood and we all walked to the living room.
"Okay Clarke," Octavia said as we all sat down."Truth or Dare?"
"Dare of course." I said with a smile.
"Um I dare you to," She thought about it."Kiss Miller." She smiled.
I rolled my eyes."What is it with you and having me kiss someone?"
She shrugged."Hey, I could've made you kiss Monty instead."
"Whatever. May I kiss you?" I asked Miller who was sitting next to me.
"Sure." He answered."But I am recording this whole game for my YouTube channel except for what happened in the kitchen, so I need someone to record this."
"I'll do it." Said Jasper.
"You have a YouTube Channel? What's it about?" I asked
"The awesome and strange life of yours truly." He answered with a grin. I smiled.
"Enough with the chit chat and get on to the smooching." Raven said.
I leaned in and pressed my lips to Miller's. He grabbed the back off my head and pulled me closer as I placed my hands on his shoulders also bringing us in closer. This was different then when I kissed Wells, it didn't feel wrong. I didn't know if it felt right either, I did know it felt good. We broke apart, after a bit, and I saw everyone watching me. I cleared my throat."Ok um Miles truth or dare?"
"Truth." He answered.
"Who was your first kiss?" I asked. He looked down at his hands and mumbled something we couldn't hear.
"What?" We all asked.
"I've never kissed anyone before." He said more clearly.
"That's so cute." Octavia said.
"Well we can't have that now can we, right Clarke?" Raven asked, and I agreed knowing what she was talking about.
"Can't have what?" Miles asked.
"We can't stand here seeing that you haven't kissed anyone." Raven explained."So who wants to do the honors?" She asked turning to us.
"I have an idea." Octavia said then whispered to us." Let's all give him a quick kiss." We nooses then Raven leaned in and kissed him for a couple seconds, then I did, and lastly Octavia gave him the longest kiss of all. After Jasper patted Miles on the back." Alright man." Jasper turned to Octavia."Do I get a kiss?"
Octavia rolled her eyes, and Monty slapped him over the head." That is so not how you get a girl to kiss you."
"Okay Miles your turn." Miller said.
"K um Monty, Truth or Dare?" Miles asked
"Truth." He answered.
"What's the worst thing you've done?"
After thinking about it Monty answered." I blew up a teachers car once."
We all turned to him surprised, except Jasper.
He shrugged," What? It was an accident. I was trying to make my volcano erupt, and I put in the wrong chemical. The teachers car just happened to be next to the blast."
"That was you?" Raven asked. Monty nodded."Nice man up top." She high fives Monty.
We continued playing until nine. Miller ended up having to run down the neighborhood in only his boxers, Jasper had to jump into the pool fully closed, Fox had to cut her long brown hair with scissors to a little higher than shoulder length, and we did so much more dumb dare. The last one was for Monty to make a dye bomb and then make it explode in the streets, but it ended up blowing up in our faces, and now we were all covered in blue. We looked likes smurfs. According to Octavia I looked the most like Smurfett cause I had blonde hair. Luckily we were outside so it didn't get on the white carpet. When everyone left I told Octavia where she could shower then I went and showered. Once I was done, I told Octavia she could sleep in the room with me. As soon as my head hit the pillow I was out.
